Padayachee confirmed that MP Fadil Adams made a Section 27 referral to IDAC alleging corruption and also informing IDAC that he had opened dockets at various SAPS stations. He clarified that the complaint was about corruption, not simply SAPS's failure to investigate. IDAC requested the dockets in writing—addressed to the head of detectives—and the dockets were found lying at the inspectorate. He noted the request came from the head of office. On the Section 27 threshold, Padayachee said the case intake committee assessed the referral and determined it fell within IDAC's mandate and that there were reasonable grounds to suspect specified offenses had been committed—consistent with Section 27's requirements. #madlangacommission

♦️ Must Watch ♦️ CIC Julius Sello Malema questions suspended Minister Senzo Mchunu on the reckless disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team and the unexplained relocation of 121 dockets to Pretoria: The Minister says “stop immediately” doesn’t mean now what does it mean, then? Next week? 121 dockets, some ready for court, were taken from investigating officers without explanation. Families were not informed. Victims were left in the dark. This happened under your directive, Minister. What did you do about it? You say there was no gunpoint, but is that the standard now? #EFFInParliament #AdHocCommittee

Blanche: "They're not peaceful protesters. When I hear the mainstream media refer to these men and women as 'protesters,' they are lying to the American people. They are lying. They are not protesters. They are rioters injecting violence. They don't even know what they're fighting. They are just cursing and screaming, threatening to kill federal agents."

Jaipur Police ! Why are your officers refusing to identify themselves to the members of the public ? Look how many times this driver asks this Police Officers name, first they don't even wear name tags and now they are refusing to identify themselves What kind of dictatorship are we living in that we cannot even ask these cops their names ?

ZACC said they sent 50 dockets of high profile corrupt cases and 300 other cases to the NPA for action but I don’t recall any that have gone to court apart from Chimombe and Mpofu case. It’s just a waste of money as people are being protected from the top office in the land.

Buttigieg: If I was advising President Trump, I would advise him to start by speaking the truth to the American people because when he says it's going to be four weeks and then breaks that promise it reminds people of when he said he wouldn't start this war and broke that promise. The outrageous news that we just got with the Trump administration removed the names of four of our service members who were killed in action apparently because the fact that they were killed in action goes against his fiction that sometimes he says we are actually not in a war even though everybody knows we are. What I would say to him is when I was in uniform when I was deployed, I knew that on some level my life depended on the credibility of the people running our government. American lives depend on him telling the truth even when it's hard.
