Ok, Bad metric for our goals ⚾️ Why shouldn’t we use Perceived % intensity? We have all seen Little Johnny throw his 50% bullpen at 80 MPH. No, he does not Sit 160 MPH in games last we checked. Too subjective of a metric With all the technology and advancements in the game, there is no way we should be measuring build up throwing intensities with “Feet Thrown” or a “Subjective %” We need to be able to quantify the single most important component of a Rehab or Build Up throwing Progression: INTENSITY HERES WHY: ⚾️ For any throwing progression, the goal is to introduce a slightly higher stress to the arm, then let their body adapt to the new stress, making it their new baseline. Then, make another small increase in the stresses and repeating this process until they have returned to their normal Freqs, Intensities, and Volumes ⚾️ Too big of a Spike which could occur from both errors in being too aggressive or too conservative then having to ramp up to return to a game can be a cause a failed Return to Play Here’s a simple fix: Use A Radar Gun ✅ Instant Feedback for Athletes to stay in a Goal Velo Range ✅ Very digestible metric for Athletes to comprehend and understand ✅ Avoids the flaws at both ends of either overstressing or understressing the arm

Hills I will die on as someone who has coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. The legacy you leave as a coach will never be determined by your wins and losses, but by the lives you were able to change for the better!

Lots of people are sleeping on Quinn Priester... I have a feeling this dude is going to make an impact with the major league club next year. Let’s talk about it. Adding velo to the sinker (SI) has been a constant emphasis since coming over via trade, and we already saw a minor increase last year. Avg SI velo (2024) 📈 • w/ PIT: 93.0 mph • w/ BOS: 93.8 mph NOTE: Remove his first two appearances where there wasn’t really any changes made, and his avg SI velo now sits at 94.2 mph. Games where SI sat 94+ mph 📈 • w/ PIT: 2 (of 23) • w/ BOS: 5 (of 10) He’s comfortably hit 96 and topped 97 mph for Worcester (seen in video attached), and has been grinding on a velo program this winter as well. Other top velos, just for fun… • FF: 96.3 mph* • SL: 92.3 mph • CU: 83.5 mph* • CH: 92 mph* • FC: 94.4 mph* *indicates top velo was w/ BOS — On top of this, we all know that Bres/Bailey & Co. love their whiff and secondary offerings. Priester took a huge step forward last year in both of these categories. Overall whiff 📈 • w/ PIT: 29.8% • w: BOS: 35.4% Arsenal whiff w/ BOS 📈 • SI: 22% • FF: 30% • FC: 42% • SL: 48% (‼️) • CU: 43%** **hot take: SI/SL combo are his carrying pitches, but his best pitch is his CH — Clearly, there’s something there. Can't help but smile at this one. One of those stories I think we are going to look back and laugh at one day. ⬇️ James Voorhies was an uncommitted catcher (and a very good one) just over a year ago. Hadn't thrown a varsity inning on the mound. In October going into his senior year I played catch with him at the local elementary school. We threw on a crabgrass field and I told him after 15 minutes of playing catch that his arm, body type, and feel for the baseball were far too advanced for him to not be on the mound. James agreed to start throwing bullpens and "give it a shot". 3 weeks later I did a workout with some of our clients and James threw a bullpen on the game mound. He was 85-87 and absolutely pounded the zone. Threw 3 of the dirtiest changeups I’ve seen (we had played with a kick-change grip a few weeks prior). I had never seen him throw against hitters. Saw a 15 minute catch play session and his first bullpen in years. I Immediately sent the video to a handful of Division 1 programs that were on his list and gave them the scoop. “He's got zero track record but everything about him looks like a future pro arm”. Responses ranged anywhere from excitement to skepticism, which was 100% to be expected. Fast forward a few months to February... CSUN pulled the trigger before his high school season even started and James went on to post a 1.09 ERA, 83 IP, 60 H, 21 BB, and 83 K in his first year of pitching to help take College Park HS to the NCS championship. So here we are essentially 1 year after Jimmy started pitching full time and he’s up to 94 mph as a true freshman, with a win and a save in his first two collegiate appearances with 7.2 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 13 K. Pretty cool story of a guy going “all in” on something new and different, and a college program taking a chance on a guy that they see future potential in. But the best part of this story and biggest point I want to make is that I firmly believe the reason Jimmy V was the guy that CSUN took a shot on was because of his makeup, work ethic, character, and competitiveness. Jimmy is one of the best “makeup” guys I’ve ever recruited or advised. He is the perfect combination of humble and confident and was the QB/captain of his football team in high school. Jimmy made it easy for CSUN to say “that’s the guy we want to take a chance on.” And yes, it helped that he was 6’4” and a big time multi-sport athlete with a ton of upside. So here we are essentially 1 year after Jimmy started pitching full time and he’s up to 94 mph as a true freshman, with a win and a save in his first two collegiate appearances with 7.2 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 13 K. Pretty cool story of a guy going “all in” on something new and different, and a college program taking a chance on a guy that they see future potential in. But the best part of this story and biggest point I want to make is that I firmly believe the reason Jimmy V was the guy that CSUN took a shot on was because of his makeup, work ethic, character, and competitiveness. Jimmy is one of the best “makeup” guys I’ve ever recruited or advised. He is the perfect combination of humble and confident and was the QB/captain of his football team in high school. Jimmy made it easy for CSUN to say “that’s the guy we want to take a chance on.” And yes, it helped that he was 6’4” and a big time multi-sport athlete with a ton of upside. Before the $. Before any proof. And honestly… that means a lot to me, if not the most of all. I’ve always been wired a little different. Elon Musk for work ethic and where the future is going. And once I saw it… I went all in. Bc when you truly understand what you own… you don’t need 20 bets. Today we're launching Chipped 💅 [link in second tweet] 6 months ago we approached KIKI with an idea. I wanted to turn my NFC chipped manicure into a set of press-ons so that I didn't have to spend hours doing it myself. Simple idea. Yeah not really, even though this idea has been around for a few years and so many great artists have been manually doing this, no one had worked out how to manufacture it. 6 weeks and 30 prototypes later we had it, she was a little rough around the edges but she worked, you could program it to anything with a URL. But linking to socials wasn’t enough, so we teamed with disco to build proof of irl schemas, so that when you tap it, it creates a decentralised friends list, stored privately, offchain but secured by your private key. During EF events we chipped over 200 crypto natives and the response was incredible with over 1000 data points being created in the first few days and 1 million impressions on twitter over the duration of the campaign. So, today is a fun day. We've released pre-sale. The colour drop is the result of governance and a community vote, but this is just the beginning for the colours and designs we plan on creating. For $49, the set of 22 press-ons comes in an aluminium matchbox with 2 NFC chip nails, and nail glue, so you can set your nails up in a few minutes literally anywhere [my salon of choice tends to be the airport lounge between conferences.] The nails come set up to your profile, which is kind of like a linktree [but cuter], where you’re able to add the socials you want it to link to, whether that's just your socials with the choice to add proof of irl credentials. It’s literally the memorable way to network. For guys who think this is ‘not for me’, consider it the easiest way to onboard your mother, your sisters and your girlfriend into web3. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. ❤️‍🩹🫂I am feeling better today than I have on the previous days, my friends, but unfortunately, I still feel very tired, and my body and mind are so exhausted by our terrible situation. I did not yet feel well enough to visit the camp today, so the meals were distributed by my cousin, where they distributed a yellow rice dish and also some fruit juice. Things are very miserable here in 💔🇵🇸#Gaza, life is worse than hell itself. The bombings are very intense and frequent, and every day we hear of more people who have died from starvation or lack of medical attention. It is no life at all, my friends. Every day that the borders are closed to aid, there becomes less goods available to us and what's left costs so much it could make you cry, which is why we desperately need more donations if we are to continue to distribute meals for those who will starve without us. 💔I don't know what to do anymore, my friends. We are in a hopeless situation, desperately trying to stay alive and to show the world we want to stay alive. We need more of everything, every kind of aid that exists, and people are dying everywhere from every kind of miserable death you can think of. We need help for the animals, they are starving and suffering terrible diseases and need help too, they did not deserve this miserable life they are subjected to and they are trying to survive, just as we all are. Been building this little brand for almost three years now with Grant Eastey and Ejay ODonnell. That’s my wife and I packing our first orders in our tiny garage that couldn’t even fit a car. But in the end the garage found its purpose. There’s something special about just going for it. We just wanted to make some hats for dads that we didn’t see out there for ourselves. Everything else was dad bod humor, mowing the lawn, ugly sneakers, etc. Being a dad is so much more than that. Being a dad really isn’t any of that funny stuff. That’s just the weird brand social media has given us. We’re about to cross half a million hats sold soon and still see ourselves in that tiny garage. Just trying things. Seeing what happens and doubling down if it works. The brand has become so much more than we ever imagined. I don’t enjoy the notion of becoming a “DTC brand”, just become a brand. Become a community and movement. You should see the notes we get from customers saying our hat helped them become better parents, our hat helped them keep trying to have children, our hat brought their kids joy when their dad passed away, our hat showed up and changed the life of someone deciding if they wanted to go on. I don’t care about the metrics. Obsession over CAC and ROAS won’t create this. Building something with meaning is so beyond any of the acronyms we see here on a regular basis. At the end of the day it’s all about trying. You just need to try. It’s as simple as that. I used to think there’s so much to risk by trying. At the end of the day it’s usually ego or fear. And two things are true. Ego decisions are solely based on your perception of what you’ll look like to others, which will never matter in the end. The second thing is fear. Fear usually only lives within YOU. Nowhere else. You make it up and decide how to act from it. Greatness is on the other side of fear. There’s no pressure over here. I was born into project buildings in Poland. “Making it” happened long before the brand started. Making it was getting out of Poland and into the US at the age of 7. On our pod yesterday Nate Lagos📈 asked me why I even stay on X when having a successful brand. The answer is simple. I personally want to give away as much free game as possible. I don’t know it all, not even close. But I want to help others break through and get their ideas into motion. Everyone is charging for courses and slack access. I get it, but it’s not how I care to move. There’s plenty to go around for everyone and if I can help then I’d love to. Gate keeping is weird. Pass it on. Help others win. Looking back at my time in that tiny garage I miss it. The excitement of a new idea forming. Hand packing every order and writing notes. Not caring if it works but trying and having fun.
