Rogue One really is the best Star Wars movie...and I grew up in the 80s/90s watching the first 3 over and over on VHS.

I loved this movie and sequence, but it did make me question Hoth. The alliance for sure had X-wings there, could easily have rigged ion guns to the speeders, and these walkers went down in less than a minute - sooo...why not on Hoth? (Yeah, I know, the plot.)

Never thought of this until now, but... First wave of rebels looked like American WWII soldiers... and then in this moment, they're saved by rebels who are more like Vietnam era troops. (The visual of the door gunner, like a guy in a Huey.) It's like a progression in history.

DEI writers didn't see tesb? LUKE That armor's too strong for blasters. Rogue Group, use your harpoons and tow cables. Go for the legs. It might be our only chance of stopping them.

Too bad all the rebels on Scarif perished. Although, the rebellion did live to fight another day.

AT-AT with their 4 legged design, speed of a fat pug and guns only at the front has got to be one of the stupidest things that Star Wars ever introduced... It's big, but formidable as little York puppy 🤣

The problem with this is that it makes you wonder what the Rebels could have done on Hoth if they'd used their X-wings against the AT-ATs instead of as escorts for the fleeing transports. They might have stopped the ground assault and then what? Shielded from all orbital bombardments.

That's why I like to dive on places with Eagle storm.
