Based on profiling, Customs IGI Air Intelligence Unit(AIU) officers kept an Indian female passenger under surveillance arriving from Bangkok to Delhi on 08.11.2025 👉During monitoring, the passenger was seen entering the washroom, where she changed from a black jacket to a grey jacket bearing the National Emblem and “National... Investigation Agency (NIA)” inscription, apparently to impersonate a government officer and evade Customs checks. 👉The passenger was intercepted after crossing the Green Channel. On X-ray screening, suspicious images were observed in her baggage. When questioned, she falsely claimed to be an NIA officer and produced an identity card appearing to be fake. 👉On detailed examination, 20 vacuum-sealed packets of Hydroponic Weed (11.350 kg total) were recovered from bags bearing the NIA emblem. 👉A team from NIA India was also called to verify credentials and assist in the investigation which confirmed that she is not officer/staff of NIA. 👉The case is under investigation and legal action are being taken as per law.show more

Customs, IGI Airport Date: 07.06.2026 Operation: AIU, IGI Airport, New Delhi Seizure: 15.38 Kg Hydroponic weed/Ganja Customs Foils Major Hydroponic Weed Smuggling Attempt at IGI Airport; 15.38 Kg Narcotics Concealed Inside Geysers Seized Based on profiling and specific intelligence, Customs officers at IGI Airport, New Delhi, successfully detected and thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic substance into India. Two passengers arriving from Kuala Lumpur by Flight No. D7-182 on 07.06.2026 were intercepted after crossing the Green Channel. During surveillance and examination, officers observed that the passengers were carrying two brand-new geysers in addition to their checked-in baggage. During sustained interrogation and scrutiny of the suspects' mobile phone communications, officers developed a strong suspicion regarding the contents of the geysers. The appliances were therefore subjected X-ray examination, which indicated the possibility of concealed material hidden within their internal structure. Subsequent dismantling of both geysers led to the exposure of a highly sophisticated concealment mechanism. Customs officers recovered 145 vacuum-sealed packets ingeniously concealed inside the appliances. Examination of the recovered packets revealed a green leafy substance suspected to be Hydroponic Weed (Ganja). The total gross weight of the recovered narcotic substance was found to be 15.38 kilograms. The estimated illicit market value of the seized contraband is approximately ₹5.38 crore. Two Bangladeshi nationals allegedly involved in #Bangladesh’s activist #OsmanHadi murder case have been taken to Delhi by the #NIA on a special flight. The arrested individuals, Faizal Karim Masu and Alamgir Hossain, were taken to Delhi yesterday from #Kolkata On Sunday, the NIA approached the Bidhannagar Court seeking permission to interrogate the duo in jail. Sources said that the NIA had recently registered a case under the UAPA in Delhi, in which the names of these two accused were mentioned in the FIR. They are accused of being involved in violence in Bangladesh as well as allegedly spreading unrest in India. Following questioning inside the correctional home on Monday, investigators confirmed that the two individuals named in the FIR were indeed Faizal Karim Masu and Alamgir Hossain. Subsequently, the NIA officials took them to Delhi for further investigation. They were arrested by Bengal STF recently.

Officers were informed that a man was kicking an ATM and had also unplugged the machine. One civilian killed, police officer and suspect wounded in Aalborg (Denmark) shooting A civilian was killed and both a police officer and the suspected gunman were wounded in a shooting in the Virkelyst area of Nørresundby, Aalborg, on Friday afternoon. Police were initially called to reports of a fire at a building. However, when officers arrived at the scene, they came under gunfire from the suspect, prompting them to return fire. The police officer was struck by gunfire but is reported to be in stable condition. The suspected gunman was also shot during the exchange and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police were initially called to reports of a fire at a building. However, when officers arrived at the scene, they came under gunfire from the suspect, prompting them to return fire. The police officer was struck by gunfire but is reported to be in stable condition. The suspected gunman was also shot during the exchange and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. An Ekstra Bladet reporter at the scene described chaotic scenes as police instructed residents and bystanders to move away from the area. According to Ekstra Bladet, officers from Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service (PET) tactical response unit are also present at the scene.
