I love how the journalist keeps trying again and again, as though the brave man simply hadn't picked up the cues he was dropping to feign a performative false contrition. Maybe this phrasing of feminine scolding will elicit a repetition of the socially-acceptable lie I'm looking for. They have no counterargument, no evidence, no statistical or common-sense repudiation. It's purely reputational destruction they rely on to keep every everyone in line.
