@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins I genuinely thought you were a parody of Jackson Merrill lol

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins Outstanding!

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins How can I learn more about how you teach this? Cues, verbiage, etc. Do you have any video or literature on how you teach it?

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins @StevenACohen2 bring this guy on board ASAP

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins Awesome

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins Love this!!

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins Heck of a job you’re doing! Keep it up!! 👍🏼

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins I would love to hear you coach this! I have a 14u team next summer , think they can grasp this?

Start slow and don’t rush! I think some may be able to grasp it.

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins How do you prevent teams from long holding and glove drop pick? Is the pitch clock an advantage for runners knowing when pitchers have to pitch?

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins I wouldn’t say you can prevent it. But preparing for it with hopefully mitigate the risks. We were picked our fair share of times too.

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins Thanks for the reply! Ya, when you’re right you’re safe close to 100% of the time I’d imagine. So deal with being picked off some.

@beloitskycarp @MiLB @MLB @Marlins That is a solid year! 80 percent is great, congrats

Any kind of quality pick game (below the pro level … with restrictions) and half of these runners, or more, are picked off. Just my take. But I also understand that most teams don’t work on halting the running game and as a former base stealer, I realize the risks necessary to be aggressive….. you can’t steal second while standing on first base. So take what the other team gives you and/or force the pressure to see if they can handle (defend) it.
