#WATCH | Delhi: On a possible message sent out to foreign security agencies when a PM reduces their security convoy in the country, former R&AW Secretary Samant Goel says, "When the PM travels abroad, the foreign countries see the security norms in the PM's own country. If we reduce it here, they will feel that the PM does not have any security threat. There are several countries which still have hostile elements. So, I feel we should not downsize it here. Not only in India, ample security needs to be provided outside too. We need to review and further strengthen it, not downsize."

Today, several politicians are using this as a status symbol. What needs to be done is to provide them with security wherever it is required.
