Basically, they're screwed.

In the books, this scene is a homage to Goethe's poem "King of elves". None of the characteristic of it were preserved: hauting atmosphere, whispering trees in the wind, fog, just nothing points to Goethe's poem in the netflix adaptation which is just soulless goofy CGI scene.

One of the randomness scenes in the show, doesn't even show how she got to that point riding the horse, Witcher comes out of no where and blows them away then all of a sudden they need a boat to get back to where ciri came from 🤣
