“Unlock the secrets of reality! Discover how mathematics reveals the hidden world of complete rational abstraction –Discover how Pythagoras’ 'Music of the Spheres' evolves into the current scientific theory known as String Theory.” (Book IV The Cosmic Symphony)

If you put the video on mute, you can hear all about the basics of string theory. Because there's nothing to hear. String theory is nonsense.

It doesn’t explain what the strings are made of 🧐

There is the smallest possible piece of matter. But it's not string, it's simple being executing discrete algorithm. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle exists because matter and momentum are discrete. Reduced Planck's constant numerically matches quantum of energy.

A scientists ability to present complex ideas in a simple fashion is as genius as thinking up these ideas itself.

Why presume that there's a definitive "bottom" which is discrete? What's the principle there? It seems like a sort of over-extension of methodological reductionism implicitly into ontology to me. Like looking for the keys under the lamp post.

Sometimes I think physicists are faced with the unfathomable and are trying to boast about their early victory.

At the end of the day, String theory limits itself just as conventional physics where the observers come to the point where they can not observe within their technological capacity. That completely sucks they still ignore there is and has to be still an existence. You can limit yourself by your capacity but you CAN NOT limit the universe by your limited peripheral vision
