Batman (1966) was so unserious 😭

The budget for Batman (1966) probably couldn’t have been more than $20 and a pizza.

Superheroes are entertainment for children. This is pitched at children, the way superhero content should be.

Batman is still unserious. It's a bat man.

Was this show meant to be a comedy? 😂

@MattRampley

Campy humor is best humor! 😂😂😂

But I loved it. This was the Batman I grew up on, and Adam West will always be my Batman.

As a kid, I loved this. Then a bloke that I used to be friends with (who had a KICK-ASS comic book collection) showed me what Joker was REALLY like. THEN, I saw "Batman"(1989)...

@EGCEMPIRE Bring it back - we need more of this nonsense.

😂

Chill out with all the negativity, this is what I grew up on

I mean, there were a lot of gun fights where you didn't see wounds and such on TV shows during and before this time. It was acting, not a special effects show. It's closer to watching a stage play than a current day TV show.

todavía se distinguía entre las pavadas para chicos y el material para cine serio

This was the only good version of batman, all the others and the entire marvel franchise should be purged from existence starting with a burning of the comic books

most fav opening music. . and the way they show punch 😂😂😂

This is why I became the Dark Knight 🦇

They had next to no budget and they ended up making a quirky new style of show

At first I thought this was AI slop. Then I realized this is what AI slop was trained on. Batman (1989) was good, though.

It’s been almost 9 years since Adam West passed away

Whole budget of movie was 100$ and 1 large pizza

Hey, mock it all that you want, but for those of us growing up in the 60s, it was high drama and totally riveting.

The Joker and those impressionable kids learnt a serious lesson that day👍

James Gunn Batman

It was a complete different era. 60 years ago. Comic Books were not taken that seriously back then.

"Good luck against Disco Tech"....oh, how I love this show, lol

It was serious to us at that time 😆

Tbh this makes more sense than batman defeating superman or facing darkseid.

The most unbelievable thing in this video is the all white basketball team. Never seen that before.

What a show down! Class! 🤪

Quite a journey to the pencil trick

I love Batman Animated series with all my heart but this is still my 2nd favorite. I watched reruns when I was younger and between this and Super Friends the Batman of my youth was always this version.
