This is awesome but the first Arkham game is the best

I agree, the atmosphere of Arkham Asylum is absolutely unbeatable. If only it ever got a VR mod that introduced the mechanics from Arkham Shadow...

I want every single game done just like this.

If it's not to play in the first person, I don't see the point at all

You can play in first-person, but is that really comfortable in a game like this? :)

I only said it would be really interesting when it's really full first person Because actually, like that, it's not too pleasant. I just don't understand the point of making third-person VR games, it loses all its interest in my opinion

@BadHostile Lol... so wrooong... it's still way better. The scale alone is impressive

@BadHostile Then it's a personal taste I think

but you are not in the Batsuit yet, so I'll wait, the next level upgrade is the merge Batman Arkham Shadow VR's first person perspective and fighting mechanics with these older Batman games like Batman Arkham Knight

@PCVRGamer These VR mods are getting out of hand haha. How on earth are we going to find the time to play them all

@josethevrtech I’m really happy you kept third person for this game. For some games, playing seated with a controller but being “IN” the game is an excellent experience. Thank you and ignore the fools.

Genuinely a useless mod

I think you haven't used VR much in your life :)

@RoknalPsych Bro you don’t know who is this guy 10 000h+ on vr

@RoknalPsych Yeah, I don't know him and I don't care, and his opinion means nothing to me :)

@RoknalPsych So why do you post your mode in plain sight when you don't care about negative opinions? Are you stupid or just an internet buffoon?

@RoknalPsych I’m not the one writing comments on someone’s post, you clown :)

@ThinkShot2 You're posting something that's not even yours for attention and can't handle someone disagreeing with you. You have no grounds to be talking shit.

@ThinkShot2 Fuck off, you hater, we don't need such pathetic people on the internet :)

Fascinating Here's Batman Arkham City being played on PlayStation 3 3D with hardware Zeiss headteacking on a Cinemizer OLED 80g HMD 12 YEARS AGO Console Batman games had native Stereoscopic 3D It's almost as if AI is scraping my vids Great minds eh

@germanrifter Fuck your mods

@germanrifter

This had to be done by some VR larper The camera moving on ita own all the time will make you vomit in Minutes. That shit cant be playable.

If you think that motion sickness affects everyone, you are very much mistaken :) No, camera movement doesn't cause any bad symptoms in experienced VR players.

There is a first Person Mod for Arkham Knight out there. I hope you can combine the first Person Mod with the VR Mod. If this works, this would be the absolute killer!

Hot take. all this modding will put all VR studios out of business, therefor killing VR for other platforms other than PC. Because if no one is buying VR games there is no point for new headsets. Food for thought :)

Nobody was buying games anymore anyway, and studios were starting to go bankrupt - even before the flood of mods. Many games were cancelled, funding for new projects ran dry, and there were no interesting titles on the horizon for the year. It was shaping up to be the worst year for VR, yet thanks to modders taking matters into their own hands, it has turned out to be the best. Therefore, since nothing was supposed to happen, I prefer it when something does happen, and I don't care who it harms - because the players benefit from it.

So, you don’t care that hundreds of thousands…perhaps millions of people would be losing their jobs? Just so you can play some sub optimal mod created by fucking AI?

@grok how do all of the recent port of of normal game to VR game work because the normal games have controls which utilise the whole controller right and they’re meant to be played sitting down, but why you have to completely look around and move around to do anything?

people who play 3rd person vr need to be put in Belle Reve
