Loved this far more than Star Trek because it is reminded me more of Star Wars

I used to love catching the into. It really set the story up. Too bad it did not appear before every episode.

I wonder if there was supposed to be a coincidence in having Patrick MacNee voice the Imperious Leader AND the opening narration (AND star as Count Iblis)

I watched this opening multiple times in the theatre. The first two episodes of the series were released in Canada as a motion picture, in the months leading up to the TV debut.

This premiered when I was a freshman in college. The day before my birthday. Still one of my favorite series ever. And, yes, I saw the movie. And I do like the "reimagining". But this still has a special place.

Loved that show as a kid.
