Nah. I watch BB because it’s a social strategy game where the winner can get the money without winning any comps — remember Dr Will? It sounds like you might enjoy The Challenge more Tommy! You’re cheering on bad production choices, for what? Most of us are upset because we have watched the show we love move further and further away from what it used to be. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I would have hated this twist no matter who it sent home and I’ll hate this twist next week when they do it again. Nobody should have their game ended by one competition without a vote or a chance to fight when they reach jury. It’s absurd.

If I had a nickel every time I went to Twitter and I saw Tommy Brocco having a bad take about Big Brother in his car, I would have two nickels

LMFAO this is honestly hysterical 😂 I do some of my best work in the car

Yeah no. I watch for the social and strategic aspect. I watch the challenge for the physical aspect! But big brother by design is a show based on voting people out. Imagine on the challenge there was a purge right before the final that was just a vote. How stupid would that be?!

You can expect the unexpected but the core rules of the game cannot and should not be broken for any twist. That's where you lose the plot. So if we're playing chess I can just topple the board with my Pokémon cards and it's like whatever. Expext the Unexpected.

It’s not strategic if you ally goes home cause they can’t complete the maze. Expect the unexpected yes but big brother foundation is built on noms, campaigns and votes

Rachel will always be a winner of Big Brother. I was disappointed with the way she left. She has never touched the block in eight weeks. No eviction votes, nothing. At least she is still part of the show. I hope she decompress during jury. She is definitely a lock for AFP!

I’m fine with them shaking things up but the final thing that happens before you are kicked out of the game should always be some sort of vote

I don’t mind the competition as a twist to end up as a 3rd nom or something, but it shouldn’t automatically eliminate someone with no opportunity to fight for their life. Even if Rachel went 1st, she probably still would have lost the comp because she just couldn’t do the wheel

No Tommy. Expect the unexpected with other aspects of Big Brother, but actually changing how someone is taken out of the game, changes Big Brother completely. She deserved to go for the veto and blockbuster.

I disagree. The White Locust Wheel works perfect for a show like the challenge like Reindeer Games or the Challenge. The idea that a contestant doesn’t get to face a veto or a vote is broken. Everyone deserves a vote.

Tommy, respectfully, you’re focused on the wrong issue. The level of outrage for a particular players unfair demise is not the problem. It’s the fact that someone is going out without an opportunity to fight for their survival. One and done challenges for anyones game is shitty.

My thoughts exactly, Tommy. It sucks that this happened to HER, but this wasn’t that crazy of a comp. Like you said, if you make this a staple like a double eviction or “The Wall” and players know that this is going to happen every year, then we could have a good twist here 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nope. Once you said "However, expect the unexpected " I shut it down.

I watch Big Brother for the social strategy. Someone leaving because of a comp is the very antithesis of BB as a show and a concept. If you want comps to matter more than strategy and social skills, the challenge might be more your speed.

BLAH BLAH BLAH… we all EXPECTED the producers to introduce a twist to screw up the game halfway through like they have the past 5 years. We didn’t expect them to break the game. While we’re at it, let’s stop casting gay men that look alike. (You and Jimmy are twins) #bb27

i think the argument of "expect the unexpected" is totally fair, but not at the start of the jury phase. maybe let it be a night one twist or a twist within the first couple of weeks... just not at jury.

Not like this. Not Rachel or anyone this far into the game. I'm done after 27 seasons. Just pathetic. Rachel is bigger than CBS at this point. They can go stuff it.

If you don’t keep core game mechanics the same, there is no game of Big Brother. There are plenty of other shows to watch where people get eliminated via challenges. You get eliminated by votes in BB.

The thing is I wouldn’t have been okay with any one of them leaving by the twist. It’s more outrageous that it was Rachel affected, yes, but regardless NO ONE should be sent home because of losing a competition. Being evicted should always be done by a vote.

What pisses us Rachel fans off the most is everyone else this season got TWO big chances to save themselves, POV and Blockbuster, Rachel got nothing. Not even the chance to campaign. 👎☹️ #BB27

I don't even like it when they do that first comp of the season where a person leaves on the very first show. They went through all of that initial promotion/filming, travel, etc just to go home on the very first comp....just to cut someone. It's weird.

It was extremely unfair and everyone else gets a choice to fight back, but she didn’t whether it was her or anybody else it’s not fair. It’s not big brother.

Okay so then let's vote on Amazing race or travel around the world on Survivor or have a hall brawl on Traitors, at the end of the day no matter how many twists you have it should never change the core of what BB is and that is you get to campaign and fight for your life

I couldn’t agree more, as much as I’m pissed Rachel went out I don’t think I would’ve been made if it had been anyone else but her. Maybe it’s because of this cast idk but blockbuster should’ve ended when jury started, I miss when we could just back door someone!!

How do people keep misisng the point? It has nothing to do with Rachel or the comp The point is, she should NOT have been evicted because of it The losers should have been nom's and then a vote should have happened Why is it so hard for people to get that?

Everyone should have played for HOH to begin with. Reindeer Games is another show. @agrodner is in the wrong. I have a theory, but I’ve only shared that w one person from the Alumni. #BB27 #RachelforAFP #Rachel4AFP #TeamRachel

Well I really loved the episode…and yes it was both physical and social….and yes if Kelley or Ava would have lost I would have lost my mind cheering…or Vince for that matter…..wonder because we have so many left in the house if we will have another episode similar to this.

It may have been riveting but The problem is CASTING!!!! Some ppl never saw one epi of bb and are clueless so they lack the ability to navigate strategically. The result all sorts of twists and turns to get them thinking and acting. The majority of this cast were lame

Yes we would be. I loathe Kelley and I wouldn’t want her to go out like that either, because ITS NOT Big Brother. Trying something new was introducing the BBBB last season (ai arena), giving people 2 chances to save themselves all season then just eliminating someone is NOT BB
