BBC News asked Jeremy Corbyn about Andy Burnham admitting Labour got it wrong on Gaza. For me, there’s no way Burnham can even begin to put things right unless he de-proscribes Palestine Action. When a government fails morally, morally decent citizens will feel obliged to act.

Andy Burnham is doomed. Doomed! Not just because “multiculturalism” - the fracturing of society - has left Britain ungovernable. After sinking their fangs into Keir, Labour backbenchers are like a Bengal tiger with a taste for human flesh (“mmm, is that garam masala on the loincloth?”). They'll want to hear the screams of another victim soon. And Burnham isn't the Messiah. He genuinely is just a naughty boy (or worse, depending on what we find out about grooming gangs in Oldham). He's got no vision, no mandate, no deep Westminster experience, and he won't be able to keep his party happy. Keir gave Labour MPs everything they wanted. Renters' rights, workers' rights, higher taxes. He made sure Britain had the best looked-after illegal migrants in the world. He stuck to his pledge of housing every Sudanese jihadi in a four-star hotel no more than three minutes' walk from a primary school. He even went cold on Israel. And he caved to their every demand - scrapping much needed welfare reform to appease them. He even got them their jobs (and they're not the sort of people used to such high salaries). But they still tore him down. Burnham will be an even bigger disappointment as they've pinned so many lefty dreams on him - rejoining Europe, scrapping immigration control, even higher welfare. He's about to find out that he won't be able to deliver on any of them. Partly because of the bond markets - but mostly because even Keir, the Borg king, the master of procedure, was unable to wrestle Britain's sclerotic bureaucracy to do what he wanted. Cheeky chappy Andy has got zero chance of mastering it. Giving a thumbs up and saying “eeh, stone roses on me walkman, proper avin it with me Everton season ticket laaaa” might make him seem relatable to the average mouth breather, but The Blob will be unmoved. Andy is the Boris Johnson of the left, and as Boris Johnson showed, people who make good mayors don't do well when they have to cope with the punishing intricacies of actually trying to get things done in government. So I wish Andy a very pleasant eleven months in government, but I've already put money on his demise.

And there we have it. Tomorrow Andy Burnham will become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, having blazed a singular trail to No. 10 that avoided ever having to defend, let alone stand on the Labour manifesto of the 2024 general election. Already, the total unfitness of the man for high office is beginning to be noticed, with a particularly striking online meme comparing his cringe-Dad antics to those of David Brent. Just how quickly his twee and cloying bonhomie falls apart on contact with the realities of political power we'll find out from next week. For my guest this week, Michael Murphy , Burnham is an even more dangerous figure to put in charge of the country than Sir Keir Starmer. The two represent either side of the same coin: while Starmer's dour legalism represented the underlying mechanics of the British state in all its brute force (the man was never more at home than when clamping down furiously on dissenting speech), Burnham is the smiling, matey facade that that state presents to the public; the tie-less, "call me Andy" school teacher who sits on a chair backwards to explain how he "gets it". But while Starmer included in his team some people who did recognise the priorities of the British working class, for example Morgan McSweeney, Burnham has swept to power on the back of the worst instincts of the already spectacularly inept Parliamentary Labour Party; a gang of charity-sector charlatans so clueless about the real world that they'd be more at home in a playschool. We must prepare for a very rough couple of years with this man at the helm. The world is rapidly becoming more dangerous, Britain is exposed and our enemies know it. The one possible silver lining we can take is that when Andy Burnham fails, perhaps the public will finally realise that that failure will not just be his own, but the failure of the entire Labour Party.

Exposing Andy Burnham The Mayor Who Betrayed Grooming Gang Survivors When it comes to protecting politicians reliant on the Muslim bloc vote that shielded Pakistani grooming gangs, one name sits near the top of the cover-up list. Greater Manchester Mayor and would-be Prime Minister - Andy Burnham. Burnham commissioned his so-called Assurance Review into Oldham knowing from the outset it was 'limited'. He then spent more than two years pretending otherwise, and nearly another two years defending its published whitewash. His whitewash. Andy Burnham led the public to believe that there had been NO COVER UP. We now know this was a lie and his Assurance Review was nothing more than a limited, toothless exercise that even failed to secure the testimony of a single grooming gang survivor. Ask Andy Burnham to dare deny this statistic. What Burnham commissioned was not incompetence. You don’t accidentally commission a review with built-in flaws, then accidentally ignore those flaws for years. What Burnham was responsible for was calculated. For years, ordinary people trusted Burnham’s review. They believed someone in power had finally looked properly at the issues that mattered. Even after we exposed his findings as a sham, Burnham kept the pretence alive. That wasn’t a mistake. That was a choice. Burnham only admitted his review was 'limited' after the cover up made world news. And even then, he called for a 'limited' national inquiry. He could have called for a National Inquiry at any point prior. He did not. Guess why? Knowing all of this, why are the legacy media running puff pieces on Andy Burnham as a future Prime Minister instead of investigating his role in covering up for grooming gangs? _________ They silenced victims. They erased evidence. They persecuted whistleblowers, discredited survivors, buried official reports, and protected predators. They thought no one would fight back and that they had got away with what they did. They were wrong My name is Raja Miah. I’m neither a Maggie Oliver or a Tommy Robinson. I’m a political campaigner. For seven years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. Before that, I spent over a decade safeguarding children and protecting communities from extremists. My mission is clear: to expose the cover-up, explain the mechanics of corruption, educate the nation, and show people how to fight back. That’s why they tried to imprison me. They know how dangerous my voice is. This is why they spent 3 years fabricating evidence and trying to falsely prosecute me. And when they failed, the Labour Party tried and failed to sue me. Holding those responsible to account, including those who traded children for votes, won’t happen unless many more of you stand with me. Every day I can continue to campaign, more people learn the truth. I can’t do this alone. If my words have ever helped you make sense of a broken system, if they’ve ever made you feel seen, heard, or hopeful, please don’t scroll past. 🔴 Support the work.
