Two visits to hospital this week and I received amazing quick very professional service indeed. I was stunned to see how clean and tidy the place was and didn't see a rat or any kind of vermin scuttling around at all, which proves Jabba the Baillif is a compulsive liar.

Our NHS has serious issues, some life threatening. Funding is too tight to deliver what it needs, but the last thing it also needs is petty unionist sniping and lying. It will solve nothing. Fighting for the NHS in Scotland means fighting against Westminster, not alongside it

This story is mental. You live in a remote island and you are complaining that services aren't on your doorstep? Flights still required travel by car/bus/ambulance to hospital at a huge cost to the tax payer. If you have an issue with access to MRI scanners etc, move.

This was the BBC News at Six last night. The English NHS is under huge pressure, partly because of a flu outbreak. Conditions in the hospital featured are atrocious. The thing you'll notice is there's no politics. No UK Govt minister is confronted. The Scottish NHS has thus far escaped the flu outbreak. That may change. However, even now we are being conditioned by BBC Scotland to believe that things are as bad or worse in Scotland. For two nights running on Reporting Scotland a Scottish Govt minister has been challenged in an item about the NHS. A narrative is being cultivated that the Scottish NHS is about to collapse. That Scottish hospitals and wards are unsafe compared to those south of the border. That things are uniquely bad in the Scottish NHS. This is completely untrue. There will be challenges. Ambulances will be diverted from area to area depending on those challenges. Patients will be advised not to attend A&E in their area unless absolutely necessary. The reason will be winter. It gets colder at this time of year. Colder still the further north you get. People slip or catch a virus. The vulnerable succumb. Pressures increase. Politics should be left out of it. The NHS is not a political football.
