I love this game! Question: If David Eby believes in science, why won’t he eject all of the NDP candidates who believe that girls can become boys through the magical power of self identification? Answer: because he wouldn’t have any candidates left.

"past comments about LGBTQ people" is misleading. She said that material depicting explicit gay sex was not appropriate for school age children. This right here is a reason homophobia is rising: activists saying that if you oppose explicit sexual material or gender ideology in school, you oppose the gay community.

Hey @SChandraHerbert … what about your CA who thinks Jews should be excluded from Pride activities and had no problem calling this Jew a pig? Guessing she is still working for you. Perhaps you should check your own house before casting stones.

WHAT IS A WOMAN!? Sucks for the NDP that people are waking up to this 🐴💩. All the NDP can do is sling mud and pray something sticks. What an embarrassment.

No one cares about your identity politics. They care about, poor health care, high taxes, high food prices, high rent prices, and the highest prices on gasoline and diesel fuel in North America.

This seems to be their strategy. Dig up some phrase from 10 years ago, blow it out of proportion, and demand they resign.

There is "homosexuality", which is a man is sexually attracted to a man, and then there is "homosexuality", which is about lifestyle: anonymous sex, bondage sex in dungeons, many sex partners, pedophilia, etc. Which is SCH speaking on? Ms Maahs speaks on the second one.

Don’t forget that Spencer lives in a suburb of Victoria , and represents the West end of Vancouver. Taxpayers also pay for his flights back and forth , he doesn’t take the ferry folks.

The modern world is in the midst of an epidemic of transgenderism—something that has never happened before in human history. The number of people claiming to be trans has skyrocketed—especially among children and adolescents. The cause is that children who are told from a very young age that they can be any sex they like, believe it. Humans are copy machines that adopt identities. Children are adopting what they see. Soon we will be left with an entire generation being channeled into sterilization and lifelong medicalization and a society in a demographic crisis.

NDP really doesn't like letting the riding association to decide who their representative in government is going to be. (nor do BCCP either, but not to the same degree)

SOGI funding cut fuels fresh debate over gender ideology in B.C. schools Last week online celebratory posts and comments started spreading after the BC Conservatives announced a “major achievement for parents” in the form of the BC NDP having “given up on SOGI and defunded the program.” For a moment, it looked like a major victory for the parents, educators, and even independent journalists who have spent years raising concerns about British Columbia's Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity program in public schools called SOGI 123. Since its arrival in schools in 2016, SOGI has become one of the most polarizing education policies in Canadian history. While government officials and allies describe it as an anti-bullying and inclusion framework, critics argue it's been used to introduce students to radical gender ideology and sexually explicit “learning resources” without parental consent nor a way to opt their child out. While posts applauding the potential end to the framework continued to circulate, NDP’s Education Minister, Lisa Beare, quickly fired back, giving the impression nothing had changed, saying SOGI was not defunded and insisting the BC Conservatives can’t be trusted. So who was correct? As it turns out, both sides were telling part of the story. An internal letter confirmed that while SOGI, the framework itself, wasn't being denied, the driving force behind it was facing a substantial funding cut. The letter from the ARC Foundation, the non-profit who describes itself as the “recognized innovator in SOGI-inclusive education,” stated they had to make the “the difficult decision” to reduce some of their staffing due to the BC Ministry of Education’s decision to discontinue funding for SOGI 123 as of this year. “We are deeply thankful to the team members whose roles have been affected. Their contributions have shaped our organization, and we thank them for the passion, commitment, and heart they brought to this work. "While these changes are incredibly difficult, our commitment to our mission remains unwavering. As we mark our 10-year milestone, we will thoughtfully redistribute our efforts to ensure our mission remains our guiding principle as we continue building toward the next decade,” the letter concluded. To provide some clarity on what this means for families whose children attend B.C. public schools, as far as what parents should expect from SOGI, we spoke with BC Conservative interim Opposition Leader MLA Heather Maahs, who formerly served as a trustee on the Chilliwack school board infamous for its frequent debate over gender ideology in schools. According to Maahs, the funding cut means many educators and staff will no longer have their SOGI lead positions due to the forced layoffs and a restructuring of the nonprofit organization. “It’s great news,” said Maahs. I also speak with Maahs about what, if anything, is the solution to solve the tensions surrounding the program. REPORT by Drea Humphrey:

🟠📉🔵📈 : After being asked about a new poll that showing the BC NDP would easily lose an election against the Conservatives, David Eby vows not to hold an election for another two years. 🗳️ Fun Fact : The BC NDP only have a one seat majority after a 22 vote win in a riding the BC NDP initially lost. It took weeks for Elections BC to determine the winner. The October 2024 British Columbia election was easily the most dysfunctional, corrupt & unethical election in Canadian history. The BC NDP tried to change the ballot to switch the name of the Conservative Party of British Columbia to the BC Conservatives, after mail in ballots had been sent out. Early voting centers had staff take home blank ballots & even cast ballots in some ridings. The BC NDP even allowed phone in voting. 15,000+ ballots were added to the final count, AFTER election day. Affidavits were filed showing dementia ward seniors were sending in mail in ballots, that had been requested in bulk. Including in the very riding the BC NDP won, by 22 votes in a recount. When the government can change the rules and take weeks to determine the winner of an election, you can't expect them to care about the will of the people. This should be abundantly clear to everyone in BC watching David Eby gift away our rights, with DRIPA. All to cut political deals with First Nation chiefs threatening to take down his government, if he doesn't do as they demand. If Eby is allowed to continue for 2 more years, democracy will become a very small factor in how British Columbia is run, moving forward.
