My project has 39,205 lines of code, and Cursor can't answer questions about it. Cursor's context seems to be capped at around 10,000 tokens. Unfortunately, this is not enough for any decent-sized project. If you have a large codebase, check out Augment Code. This thing is faaaast! I'm currently using their Visual Studio Code plugin, but you can also use them on JetBrains, Neovim, and even Vim. (I'm a Neovim fan, but Copilot's implementation for Neovim is nowhere as good as Augment Code.) Augment Code was gracious enough to sponsor this post. After you install their extension and run it for the first time, it will index your entire codebase. This is why it can answer questions as fast as it does, regardless of the size of your codebase. Augment Code supports chat and completions like every other AI coding assistant, but its killer feature is "Next Edit." When you make a change, two things happen: 1. The model analyzes the change to determine the ripple effects across your *entire* codebase. 2. The model suggests everything you need to update to ensure everything works correctly. ‼️I don't think people are grasping how MISERABLE this Winter Storm will be. This Winter Storm will be NOTHING like last week’s storm❌ 🥶 Portions of the Carolinas will turn into SIBERIA on Saturday, as Hurricane Force Wind gusts and close to a FOOT of Snow fall at the same time. 🌀 Our Storm is what’s called a BOMB CYCLONE, meaning it is a rapidly strengthening Low Pressure System. 💨 Instead of a calm, steady Snow, conditions will be ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL inside the core of the storm as Blizzard like Snow and Wind WHIP around. 🌡️ On top of that, Temperatures will be Frigid, with Wind Chills close to 0. I’ll have another update later tonight, but right now this is looking like a BIG ONE for our Carolina brotheren. More to come my brotheren. 👊❄️

REVIEW TIME!!! Review: Preferredgardens “Pearlz” Lazer Gun x Zoap Grown by The Flowery (FL) Overall Comments I was really excited for this one. I waited for it to go on sale, and the batch I got was actually pretty fresh too. Unfortunately this ended up being another annoying miss from The Flowery. I used to really like them, but lately it feels like every pickup just disappoints me more and more. At this point it’s getting frustrating. Honestly, the stuff I’ve been getting from Curaleaf has been smoking 10x better than this, which is wild considering the price difference. Flavor / Accuracy Genetically this should be bringing some nice Zoap characteristics, but they barely come through. There’s a faint hint of that sweet, slightly citrusy Zoap profile hiding in the background, but it never really gets the chance to shine. The mineral taste hits hard and ends up covering most of what should have been a really nice terp profile. You can tell the Zoap is trying to be there, but it’s buried under that salty, mineral heavy smoke. Ash Super salt and pepper ash with zero resin ring. Not even a hint of one forming. It honestly didn’t even try. Effects This is really the only redeeming factor. I’m typing this review while high off it, so it definitely works. That said, the effects don’t make the experience any less annoying. I’m not mad because it’s weed and it got me high, but damn. Why does something with Zoap in the lineage end up tasting like straight minerals and salts with the good flavor buried underneath? Final Thoughts Truly disappointed here. I think this might be the last straw for me with Florida grown Preferred Gardens for a while. The genetics clearly have potential, but the execution just keeps missing.

A HIGH IMPACT Winter Storm could develop late this upcoming week, with the potential to bring Heavy Snow and Ice to parts of the country. 🌨️ The heaviest Snow will likely fall on the north side of this storm Friday - Sunday, wherever it ultimately tracks. As we move through the week, I would not be surprised to see Winter Storm Watches and Warnings issued as it becomes more clear where this storm will setup. ❄️When it comes to exact locations and Snow totals, we are still WAY too far out to pin that down. That said, the most likely SNOW ZONE appears to be somewhere within the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys, though this will almost certainly shift as we get closer. ❄️Elsewhere, the Midwest will see a few rounds of light to moderate Snow Monday through Wednesday as a series of Alberta Clippers pass through. A friend of mine just recently got his first gun, a striker fired Glock 19. He is terrified to leave a round chambered. To anyone reading this who has this same fear, I want to alleviate your concerns. I'm going to explain why there is nothing to be afraid of. First and foremost, I fully understand your concern. It's not irrational. And you're not stupid for being nervous about a bullet being aimed at your leg with the striker cocked back under spring tension about an 1/8 of an inch from the primer. I get it. I shared this concern when I was new to carrying. But your fear is due to a lack of understanding of the internal safety features of a modern striker fired handgun. On a properly maintained modern striker fired pistol the striker CANNOT hit the primer on the chambered round without the trigger being pulled. Can't. Not shouldn't. Can't. (If you have any good Sig P320 jokes, this is the proper place to share them) There is a block that the striker will hit and stop if it is released without the trigger being depressed. It works just like a lock and key. There is a channel in the blocker that the striker can pass through if it is in the fire position. It only goes into the fire position if the trigger is pulled which pushes the blocker into the fire position. A spring keeps the blocker firmly in the block position until then. The blocker is a solid piece of steel that won't break. And if your gun is securely in a hard sided Kydex holster nothing can move the trigger unless it is unholstered. Many guns like Glocks have a trigger safety that prevents the trigger from moving due to force of dropping. Your finger has to be on the trigger safety to move it. So the gun cannot fire unless you pull the trigger. And it's easy for you to test this safety feature to see how it works! See the video below. You can try to push the striker forward by moving that piece at the back of the slide forward. That piece is the back of the striker. Push it forward and it will stop. The tip won't come out through the breach. You see it trying to come through but it gets stuck. Now push that little button in. That is the actual blocker. When you push it in you will now be able to move the striker forward through the breach and see how it will strike the primer. You can test this easily every time you disassemble your pistol to verify it is still working. You can break this safety feature by removing the blocker or losing the spring. But if it's there it will work. (You would be the first person in firearms history who has ever lost a spring. Literally the first one. It has never happened before. 😐) But it doesn't come out as part of regular maintenance. You have to disassemble the firing assembly to get it out. That won't happen by accident. And if you do that on purpose you should do this blocker test when you reassemble it to make sure the safety feature is working. My video shows a Glock slide. All Glocks will look like this. Other brands may put the blocker in a different spot or it may be a slightly different shape. But they all (mostly) have the same design. If you test yours as demonstrated and it works like mine does, your gun WILL NOT fire without pulling the trigger. (If you just thought of another P320 joke, this is another good place to toss that out there)

We are getting absurdly close to the point where “learning Blender” means learning how to direct an AI. A shot like this looks soft and playful on the surface, but under it is the usual 3D pain: modeling, layout, materials, lighting, atmosphere, animation, and endless tiny fixes until the frame stops looking dead. That is why Kimi K3 matters. With Blender MCP, you can describe a scene like a robotic goat walking through a dreamy field and let the model help build the environment, place the camera, shape the materials, script the motion, and iterate inside the real Blender project. Next up, something I haven't REALLY managed to get working for a long time is synchronized, uncalibrated videos for person tracking. Whenever I used something like vggt, there was just enough residual error that it didn't work and gave crap results. I have a version now in Rerun that takes time-synced, but uncalibrated sparse videos -> calibrated, gravity-aligned videos within a reasonable error. Yellow cameras are basically the naive vggt cameras (actually g3t in this case), and blue ones are after running the optimization post-processing pipeline. Kornia has been shipping some cool stuff recently; in particular, they have an easy-to-use bundle adjustment pipeline in rust with kornia-rs. I was trying to use pycolmap but I kept having issues with it so it was a really nice alternative. I'm going to be pumping out more huggingface Gradio spaces soon so this will be the next one 🫡 Fable has gotten really good at making images. its a TLDR on how it works

That ol' Rascal. He really got himself into something deep this time. A lofty motivating thing for sure, and that'd be the Word of God. That goodly critter spent a some time with ₩₳Ɽ ₱₳₮Ⱨ and his Iron Counsel and they've been in Matthew and Luke meditatin' on lost sheep. That got Rascal thinking there might be a shepherd out there in need of a new piece to keep back the wolves and he has made his decision. The whitepaper for @ProjectLendX dropped yesterday after many months. This is a disrupter, aiming to change how crypto lending works. To date, most all lending is p2p, $LENDX is the closest thing to institutional lending without the constraints. This is built on #Arbitrum for all of #DeFi. - There is nothing out there on any chain like the ALT function that Lendx developed. - This is true 1 sided lending, liquidity for the pool is provided BY LendX, not p2p. - Incorporated $ARB through a synthetic asset lending loop further adds value. - The ALT function is scalable to size, and it is tech that can be utilized by future projects to fund their protocol without having a token tax.
