After the 2022 World Cup, Messi won FIFA THE BEST AWARD in early 2023 for the 2022 calendar year. In 2024 when it was time to give the FIFA THE BEST AWARD for the 2023 calendar year, Messi won it again, a year at which he went to MLS after spending half of that year in PSG with no national team accolade. Apparently Messi won TWO FIFA THE BEST AWARD for two straight years because of one World Cup. So last night I went to an Alter Bridge concert at the Southside Ballroom in Dallas. Naturally, I googled the set list because I like to be prepared. Halfway through the show, they threw me a curve ball and played, “Ghost Of Days Gone By,” which was not on the list. I recorded this entire video with tears streaming down my face. A month after it was screened, Federal agents seized the prints before it could be shown at the festival New Cuban Films, which had already been disrupted by Anti-Castro exiles. The film finally opened in 1973 at a small theater. It received glowing reviews and was selected for an award from the National Society of Film Critics. The US State department denied Tomás Gutiérrez Alea's request for an entry visa. A visa application for Saul Yelin, director of Cuba's National Film Institute, who had asked to accompany Mr. Gutierrez as an interpreter was also turned down. Hollis Alpert, The Chairman of the critics group said that he had been warned by an US Treasury official that it would be a violation of the Trading With the Enemy Act, 1917 for anyone to accept the award on behalf of Mr. Gutierrez. Andrew Sarris, speaking at the awards ceremony which Alea couldn't attend, hailed the director as a courageous dissident. Gabor Maté on what trauma actually is: Asked "how do you define trauma?", Gabor Maté offers a definition that reframes how most people understand the word. "Trauma is a wound. The important distinction to make is that trauma is not what happened to you. It's what happened inside of you as a result of what happened to you." He illustrates this with his own story: "My trauma wasn't that my mother gave me to a stranger. The trauma was the wound which is that I perceive myself as not wanted. I perceive myself as abandoned. Who gets abandoned? Somebody who doesn't deserve to be loved." That internal wound, he explains, then shapes an entire life: "So then I developed this sense of not being good enough, not being lovable enough. Now that means I spend much of my life trying to prove that I'm good, that I'm lovable, that I am important, which then drives all kinds of behaviors which then create more problems." So, this is the full video of that interview with late Humphrey NWOSU in which he bared it all. He was the National Electoral Commission Chairman that conducted the 1993 General elections in which MKO Abiola took part and won. After watching this to the end, please tell me why this man shouldn’t be given a state burial in Nigeria…is it the Igbo thing again? This man was the reason MKO Abiola was known to have won the elections. He resisted pressure from the military till it was impossible to resist. But he had already given Nigeria its freest and fairest election till date and submitted a report that showed MKO won, which is why everyone knew he had won. 32 years later, Babangida would launch a book to corroborate his report and admit that MKO won the elections. At that same Babangida event, Nigerians from all walks of life were present and billions were raised. But this is the man behind it all. He is now late and will be buried on March 28. A Yoruba man is incidentally the president and I don’t think this man will rest well if his due respect as the architect of Option A4 is not accorded him even in death. Rights right and wrong is wrong. Watch and share till it gets to every Nigerian alive.

I've been spending a lot of my time digging into the combat of Arknights: Endfield to figure out who I want to have the most fun investing in. So far... the Physical Team has been my favorite (disregarding Limited). I believe Physical teams really help teach a player how the combo & battle skill system work, while giving a decent bit of skill expression. I'm not finished with my true first impressions of the game, but here's a short clip of this Pogranichnik combo I'm working on. I've designed it so that I stack Vulnerability as fast as possible, but delay 2 inputs long enough to build a final SP for Pog. This lets me immediately convert the stacks, activate his combo skill, and if my ULT is active he can launch 2-3x soldiers between each hit. Speaking of his Ultimate, this dood is basically "Aftershock the character" for anyone familiar with Zenless Zone Zero. I didn't understand it at first but now that I'm getting the hang of it, he might be my favorite of the standard 6-stars. He's got sauce!
