Georgie was a real one.

Georgie wasn’t the brightest kid but he tried his hardest and it shows in his success as an adult. The one kid his mom overlooked made something of himself. He had to work at what came easy to Sheldon and he has the humility to show it. But he wasn’t the best older brother at all. To Missy he was good but to Sheldon absolutely not. Also most of that was not Sheldon’s fault, it was his mother’s. She coddled him in every possible way stunting his growth and not making him grow and be a little more mature. Yes he has his phobias, plus he clearly has Asperger’s or some form of high functioning autism so he needed some protection. However, she over did it and it wasn’t until he met Leonard, Penny and Amy did he finally grow up.

You never realize how special a person is to you until it too late
