💔❤️ FROM BEING ABANDONED, TERRIFIED, TO THIS…Beautiful Shannon ❤️ Just two Fridays ago, a poor dog was tied to a bush in Dublin city, right across from busy Heuston Station. On a Friday night, with crowds passing by, she coward there for hours, so scared, confused, and completely unsure of what was happening to her. It was heartbreaking to witness. With the help of some incredibly kind people who stayed with her and kept her safe until we arrived, we were finally able to bring her to safety. And look at her now… it’s like night and day. Shannon is unbelievable. She loves to play, she adores cuddles, and her beautiful personality is shining through more and more each day. This is what rescue is about. This is why we endure the heartbreak. Why we face criticism and cruelty from narrow-minded people. Why we put ourselves on the line for animals who have no one else. Because a result like Shannon is worth every tear, every sleepless night, and every ounce of anguish. We love her ❤️ A huge thank you to Eoin, our long-term volunteer and dog behaviourist Underdog training, you have been truly amazing. If you can, please consider donating towards Shannon’s future. For example, if P’Lena does something little like dropping me home, buying me snacks, or ordering me food, I’d be like ‘thank you’. That’s our normal reaction. 🦋: that’s right. We both really understand each other’s wavelength/vibe. For instance, if I feel down while working, she’s the first one that knows and can sense my wavelength before anyone else (before manager and mum). So I feel lucky to work with someone who understands how I feel. *says thank you to Miu* 🧸: it’s not even intentional. To be honest, I didn’t know I’d be able to read her, but it’s more that I approach her when I feel her face is a little strange (from normal). 7️⃣: As Rin said, the reason I cried was because they were tears of happiness. As everyone can see, both of us have been in this industry for a very long time-10 years already. I was the one who sitting down there watching. I never had the chance to stand on stage or perform. This is probably the very first time that I get to perform a solo stage and truly do something I really want to do. I wanted to express my true feelings to everyone, and I never thought that I would have a day like this-a day where so many people would come to see me like this. Honestly, in the past, if just 10 people came to see me, I was already happy. Even if there were only one person left, I would still be very, very happy. So I never thought there would be a day where the hall is completely filled with people coming to see us, and where we receive love from so many different countries. I want to thank everyone so, so much for loving the work that both of us create. And we’ve become a safe zone for all of you.🥰 Let me stop here for now. If there’s anything more, I’ll continue later. Why are these horrible date ideas & what mistakes did these guys make? 1️⃣ MOVIES: if you want to make a movie date work, your arm needs to be around her the entire time, you need to be whispering into her ear, talking with her, joking with her, and touching her (oh, and it probably shouldn’t be a first date… unless you guys really hit it off the first time you met before the date). You 100% do not want to do the thing where you go to the movies, ignore her for 2 hours, and stare at a screen. Doesn’t get more awkward than that. 2️⃣ TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF THE WHOLE DATE: (the problem wasn’t the Applebees, it was the conversation at the Applebees) you need to get the girl talking about HERSELF, then relate back to what she is saying, on anything you relate with. Leave little interesting baits about stuff about you, and if she is interested, she’ll ask, and then you can talk about it. If you are not interested in talking about HER and exploring HER, then that is not a date; instead it might be a good idea to start a YouTube channel, film yourself talking about yourself, upload it, and then anyone who wants to watch that can watch it there. But not a date idea. 3️⃣ IKEA: or any window shopping date — these can actually be awesome dates IF you are great at conversation and flirtation. If you are ass at that, however, a date like this is just torture, since there is nothing to distract from the ass conversation, and she is going to be saying to herself, “WHY are we just walking around looking at towels and stuff?” IKEA PT. 2: the 15-minute drive back in silence… 😑 Gotta keep that conversation rolling, my man.
