Bearing Balls Forged Into A Katana

That's not a katana, it's a tanto, or maybe a wakizashi.

Not an expert, but I think the Katana goes through a tougher forging process. Multiple folding and all. This looks too American for me

This is ball Damascus, basically the beads inside melt into a liquid at one point and they are actually different metals so one of them can be stained. Making Damascus. This specific pattern is made using balls.
