Beastie Boys Sure Shot SNL 1994

Man, I remember watching this when it ran live. Sure Shot was awesome, but Ricky’s Theme and Heart Attack Man blew me away. Got to see them at Lollapalooza 94, best show I’ve ever seen

Despite their success at this point in their career (after the amazing Paul’s Boutique and Check Your Head) you can sense that this is a “WE’VE MADE IT” moment - especially for AdRock. He’s shouting! It’s awesome. Like he knew SNL was the pinnacle for NYC guys

This is their best song imo. All 3 of them absolutely kill here too

Ad Rock sounds like when my friend imitates Ad Rock and is really just screaming like he had too much breakfast cereal.
