Two key points: The hook was ridiculously telegraphed and no fighter should ever get caught with this fresh into a fight. Stevenson's right hand is technically where it should be to absorb the blow, but there is a difference between correct arm position and using it correctly for defense. He may be a world class wrestler, but he is a sub-novice boxer.
