4 years ago, I wore the Newcastle jersey for the first time. At that moment, I hadn’t realized that not only was I about to become a Newcastle player, but I was also about to become a Geordie. You might think « nice Goodbye message » but the sentiment runs deeper than any words I could say, from the very first months that I met the people of this city, I truly understood them and embraced their unwavering passion, which is why it was so important for me to give my all and if this meant to play injured or even not making statistics, I didn’t give a sh** as long as it would help my team. Believe me, I fell for Newcastle, I had great opportunities to leave during dark days, but that was too late I was already in love, I wanted, I needed, I had to stay for helping my team to save the club from Premier League relegation because it meant the world for me. Of course during those dark days some may have had their doubts, but I always believed in this club and look where we are today, it's just so beautiful. I'm leaving Newcastle as it should always have been and that's my greatest trophy because I was a part of it. A deep thank you to ALL of you, my team mates, the loyal fans, the staff, the Club, etc… I’ve seen all your messages, thank you and even though this chapter has ended, the story never stops. David Lynch on what he hopes the lasting impression for audience after seeing 'Mulholland Drive' (2001) & from where he gets his ideas: "Interviewer: It’s a perplexing film. What do you hope the lasting impression will be for audiences? Lynch: I’m hoping that they enjoy the ride and I’m hoping that their intuition kicks in, this machinery we all have for sensing things we aren’t necessarily able to articulate. Abstractions can exist in cinema – and that is one of its greatest powers, for me. I love the abstract feel of it and I hope that others do as well. Interviewer: Where do you draw your ideas from? Lynch: Well, from my mind, I guess. But that’s not necessarily as simple as it sounds. The mind is a beautiful place, but it can also be pitch dark. How big the mind is, we do not know. Ideas sometimes come into my mind that make me crazy. I don’t know where they come from, and I don’t know what purpose they serve. Recently I have been thinking about ideas as fish, and that they are always swimming around us. Once in a while we catch one, and they pop into the conscious mind and explain everything to us. Qullamaggie on Shitty Stocks in Hot Sectors Are Better Than the Best Stocks in a Random Sector “Yeah, that’s it, you know. Low float and a blockchain if you haven’t noticed—no, uh, you know—a blockchain-related stocks are the hottest stocks right now. And you know, if you have a very hot sector, even the shittiest stocks are gonna make bigger moves, bigger moves than the best stocks in a not-very-hot sector. That’s how it works—you gotta be in the hot sectors. You gotta be obviously—you can’t just randomly buy anything. But if you have a setup like this, can too. It’s a Chinese Bitcoin miner. That’s where I bought it yesterday—not because I like the setup, love the setup or anything. And you know, it’s a very thin stock, it’s not a big position. But I knew—these types of stocks, when a sector gets really hot, these types can double and triple very fast. I’ve been doing this for a while, like I know. Last time these are like something like DPW—it’s another getting pumped as a, or actually it’s not getting pumped as a Bitcoin anymore, or crypto play, but it used to be. No, it wasn’t this one, IGC—was it IGC? Yeah, so this was one—was a weed name. Okay, anyhow, whatever, it’s the same thing. You know, when a sector gets really hot, even some of these random shitty stocks can make enormous moves. Like IGC—look at this thing—went from like forty-five cents to fifty bucks. Now this is a weird name back in twenty-eighteen. But you know, they—they traders just want to find anything that’s gonna be the next whatever. You know, people are looking at this MARA RIOT, which I, by the way, nailed. I can’t believe how well this worked. But you know, like when I bought RIOT in the fours, the same principle. Wrestling is such a complex sport yet, we never dive deep into the details of what it really takes to reach the top. I really find it fascinating, as I for one have experienced both the highs and lows of this sport. It feels so good to win after losing, to a point where it almost becomes addicting to keep coming back from setbacks. To the ordinary person you may seem crazy, but to wrestlers the grind and courage to lose over and over again, yet still show up and eventually reach the top it’s beautiful! Before wrestling I didn’t have much goals in life and after discovering this sport and the amazing people in it, I started to set goals for myself. Those same goals create a consistent pattern where I wake up everyday and have something to chase, I played so many other sports and never really felt this drive before. So if you quit wrestling or haven’t played sports in a while, it’s never too late to set big goals. Maybe you’re older, try wrestling veterans. Sure it’ll be tough, but it’ll give you something to chase… which in my opinion, a lot of people don’t really have a purpose. Most importantly, I love wrestling. - rant over
