This is one of my all time favorite U2 songs...Can't listen to it. Sound like someone singing to themself and trying not to be heard. This song has so much energy and this rendition void of all energy. Not sure what the boys from Dublin were thinking...

Listen, I know this may not be popular, but I have listened to a number of these U2 re-recordings that have been put out/released. I have yet to be impressed!

I’m actually really into these late stage U2 stripped down soul songs. They hit different with a 60 year old Bono talking about not letting the days get away. Love this version.

Who knows, this album might come to be appreciated after the shock wears off. Kind of what happened when Achtung Baby came out. Or maybe it's called Songs of Surrender because they've given up.

Terrible production. Lifeless. Soulless.
