Pro sports can be intoxicatingly rewarding and devastatingly ruthless at the same time. Fairytale endings are few and far between. Coaches and GM’s are usually hired to get fired. They know that going in. Sucks, but that’s the job. I want to thank both Michael Malone (best coach in franchise history) and Calvin Booth for taking these Denver Nuggets to a place they’ve never been before. The mountain top. It was beautiful.
