Watch nature at the world's most powerful waterfall, the Murchison Falls, located in northwestern Uganda. It is where the entire Victoria Nile is forced through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plummets 43 meters into the "Devil's Cauldron," creating a thunderous roar and a perpetual rainbow. The falls are the centrepiece of Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area. 📸 EMMY DANIEL OJARA #MonitorUpdates

Orbiting Murchison falls in a little Cessna 172, is one of my favourite pastimes! You can see the 7 metre wide, narrow rocky gorge, where the entire Nile thunders through! Uganda really does have it all! 🇺🇬

Did you know that every snare removed is a victory for nature? At TotalEnergies Uganda, we’re taking action by partnering with WCS Uganda Program, and Uganda Wildlife Authority, to locate and remove these hidden dangers before they claim more animal lives. It’s part of our commitment to protecting the Murchison Falls Conservation Area ecosystem, and to ensuring that future generations inherit a thriving natural heritage. ActingForSustainability

Murchison falls - Uganda The debate is about the pressure and the force the Nile uses to go through an 8 meters wide canyon. The wide part of the Nile is 400m and all that volume of water pushing its self through 8m is incredible. It’s part of the wider picture called Murchison falls conservation area which is around 5k kilometers squared. You obviously have the big 4 plus atleast 9 different species of primates including the great chimpanzees scattered across the park. The Rothschild giraffes are being debated as the tallest giraffes in the world. Filmed this today morning

We have successfully translocated a notorious man-eating Nile crocodile from Kitagwenda to Murchison Falls Conservation Area, helping protect communities from deadly human-wildlife conflict. #WildlifeConservation #HumanWildlifeConflicts
