Because many Kia & Hyundai vehicles lack standard anti-theft technology, a few tools and a few minutes are all a thief needs to steal a car. It’s obvious we need action to protect customers. AGs across the nation are calling on the federal govt to institute a nationwide recall.

We need a recall alright. Just not the kind you’re proposing.

We used to call people who did this ‘criminals’, and arrest them, but sure blame the car companies because that’s the real issue…

How about holding the criminals accountable instead? Crazy idea, I know.

How about you hold criminals accountable instead of recalling my Kia?

You’re seriously blaming the auto manufacturers for people stealing? Walgreens should be responsible because they have open aisles which makes it easy to steal?

Anything but going after criminals.

See? It’s always someone else’s fault. Now they’re blaming the car manufacturers 🙄

pro-crime politician talking here… equivalent to “she was wearing a skirt” in cars.

What's next? Soldering our jewelry into our skin because jewelry is too easy to rob off us? Are we still a world superpower? This is pretty pathetic.

This is asanine. Since when does the government decide what anti-theft devices should be in vehicles? I am now questioning if the attorney general understands the US Constitution. Admit you have read and understand Karl Marx Communist Manifesto.
