I think that's one of the reasons this scene hits so hard. It's not just that Zoro disappears, it's that for the first time Luffy and the crew see someone they've always believed could overcome anything being completely powerless. Zoro was always the one who kept standing even when everything seemed impossible. And I love how that's reflected in Luffy's reaction. He's so confused and shocked that he can't even process what's happening. And for Zoro it's just as devastating. He had just come out of Thriller Bark, where he pushed himself through an incredible sacrifice to protect the crew. Only a few days later he's faced with that same feeling of helplessness again, but this time he can't even sacrifice himself to save everyone else. #ONEPIECE #ZORO #ロロノアゾロ #ゾロ

Let's say this with all the letters: ADRIEN IS AN ABUSE VICTIM. Gabriel abused and neglected him his entire life. Gabriel controlled him, manipulated him. He made Adrien believe that he loved him, only to punish him for his actions, making affection conditional on his behavior. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there ❤️ I could never have imagined, being a mother would change me so much. If someone told me 3 years ago, that I would voluntarily put myself second to someone in the world, all the time, every time, I would have laughed & dismissed it ! Guess what !!! I was so wrong. Now, the kids always come first. Not because I have to, but because I want to. How silly & immature of me to have thought otherwise. It doesn’t matter how tired I am, how busy I am or how hungry I am, the kids always come first. So what do y’all think is worse? People on Twitter expressing their negative opinions about how a fundraiser for someone we all care about went? Or the host of the fundraiser shitting on those people *during the actual fundraiser*? Also, I am going to clear up James’ disinformation - literally nobody in the chat was being negative towards Karen. In fact, 90% of the negativity in the chat was directed at James. James was receiving so much negativity because of his own disrespectful and foolish behavior (watch the 2nd video to see just some examples of why I say that). On top of the comments he was making he was also moving around doing random shit constantly. Check out the 3rd video to watch James wiggle around like a bored preschooler whose breakfast cereal had way too much sugar in it for 2.5mins all while the amazing and highly respected attorney, Carl Steinbeck, was speaking. Compare his behavior to the rest of the panelists. Oh! And check out the last video to see Mike throw shade at Runkle in a feeble attempt to soothe his own fragile and wounded ego. So no - we are not the assholes in this situation. And we are not being negative about last night’s fundraiser just because we dislike some of the creators involved. Colin Albert’s lawyer’s statement about not knowing where Colin is going to basic training seemed like bullshit, because before I left for the Army, I knew exactly where I was going for basic. However… Before you join the Army you have to take an ASVAB, the military’s intelligence test. It’s a test that someone with a 9th grade education can pass. It’s a test that determines what MOS (jobs) you are intelligent enough to qualify for. You can’t pick your job without a passing it, and if you don’t have a job, you don’t know where you are going for basic. Basically by telling everyone that Colin has a three week prep course AND doesn’t know where he is going to basic, he is saying that while Colin may have been smart enough to be accepted to Bridgewater State University, Colin is not smart enough to be a private in the Army. When I joined there was a guy with me that was going to be a Laundry Technician, which I thought was made up. I asked why he picked that. It was because it was the only thing he could get based on his low ASVAB score. On the day that the Cincinnati Bengals announce their blockbuster deal with Ja’Marr Chase, I got a story … In 2021, Chase hit a rough patch in camp with drops. It was a big story at the time, the kind that blow up in the summer. Anyway, I came thru for an early August practice, and hung out with coaches on the field for about a half-hour after the session ended. I turned around, and there was Ja’MarrChase, out there on the Juggs, having kept one teammate behind to help him. Five minutes later, he was by himself, with an equipment man shooting the balls at him. At the end of my camp trip, I showed my football-obsessed first-grader (now a fourth-grader) how this player picked fifth overall was responding in the face of adversity early in his career. Almost all the rest of the players and coaches were inside. It wasn’t a show. It was a guy consumed with being the best. Which is why I think the Bengals will sleep well writing him those checks.

This video brought joyful tears to my eyes this morning. Two years ago, my nanny decided to leave abruptly. I was rotating through general surgery with heavy patient load, frequent calls, and needed to stay in the hospital for several days during unit calls and patients that required us to operate till 2am. My husband had just closed for the year. So I had to drop our 10-month-old with him for about 3 weeks before I got another nanny. He bathed her. Fed her. Washed her hair. Spent quality time with her while I was at work. I didn't have to choose between my career and my child because he stepped up. This morning, that little girl, now 3 years old, knocked on my door and said: "Mummy, open the door. I want to greet you and Daddy." Oh, my word! Fully cohesive. Fully intentional. I can't believe how much she's grown. People talk about "having it all" like it's something you do alone. It's not. You can be an excellent surgeon AND an excellent mother, but not without a strong support system. Who you marry matters because they hold the line when you can't. I'm grateful for this man. And for the bond he built with our daughter when I couldn't be there. I can't even be jealous. Partnership isn't about splitting tasks 50/50.It's about stepping in 100% when your partner needs you to. Enjoy your weekend 😘
