🥟: someone asked if seungmin is okay. honestly, i don't know. being sick is always the hardest. well, i can't fully understand how seungmin feels but i'm sure he really misses stay. being sick already feels miserable and on top of that, he's in a situation where he has to temporarily stop doing the things he wants to do. it must be hard for him. but still, everything will work out in the end.

16 years ago, Inception changed my expectations of what a summer blockbuster could deliver. Flash forward to 2026 & Christopher Nolan has done it again. I definitely see parallels between some of the filmmaking techniques Nolan deploys in Inception as well as in The Odyssey. The Odyssey feels like a summation of all of Nolan’s past work, Inception included.

🐰 i still remember when we went overseas on tour, taehyun said that his body was sweltering after the concert so he was going to have a ice shower and brought a bunch of ice 🐿️😆😆😆 🐰 he was like “this is refreshing~” and had a lower body bath and the next day he looked like he was dying 🐿️ i got a body ache all over the next day 🐰 i saw him and thought “i shouldn’t have a ice bath”…but i don’t go into cold bath tubs either 🐿️ ah really? 🐰 yeah 🐿️ i like it a lot, it’s really cold but there is a little bit of a mental effect of going in there plus it was really hot so i went in and it was very electrifying in a good way…like i was getting healthier! so i was like “this feels great~” but then…i was like “what’s this? i’m definitely out of the ice but it’s still cold..” 🐰 it wasn’t you feeling like you were getting healthier 🐿️ it wasn’t me feeling like i was getting healthier, it was the virus in my body getting healthier

This threadguy rant is what many are feeling but haven’t articulated. Crypto was just early to this trend but now everyone feels it. I look around and it’s like someone rushed to the cornucopia. And now everyone feels like they desperately have to win. Like RIGHT NOW. It's like this primal drive to win. Like right this second. Like there is a clock. And it’s ticking. And you just don’t know how much time is on it. And the dollar is getting worthless. And everyone is just printing money. It feels like we're in the early innings of desperation.

Talked to Trae in some nuance about the "good quests" idea. He broke it down into a 2x2 matrix (because why not) of is good / is bad vs. feels good / feels bad. Is good feel good is obvious, is bad feels bad is obvious. The other two quadrants are what's interesting. "Feels bad is good" is where duty and responsibility live...things like defending the country, maintaining law and order, disciplining children, etc. "Feel good is bad" is where vice lives...hedonism, more or less. Defining these quadrants and understanding what companies might end up where is tricky, but feels particularly important right now with AI.
