Been getting into RetroAchievements stuff and some of these are evil. This one about winning the race in DKC2 while also finding all the side items has me exploring parts of this map I maybe saw once or twice as a kid.

This has been incredible stuff from Dillon and Mike. One of the greatest segments in the history of the show. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about how this would go, but within the first 12 minutes, I didn’t speak once. Unbelievable.

Ignore all of these. Focus on the ones that are in uptrends and that have been holding up really well during the correction. Focus on those ones. That’s where the big money is. Like ROKU is literally inside of a range right now. This thing has no upside. Look at stuff like DDOG. Look at stuff which I passed on. Look at stuff like WORK, which I am long. These are the types of stocks you wanna own. These are the types of stocks you wanna own. Look at this. TDOC also, this one I didn’t think it was gonna go. I saw it breaking out early, but I passed on it. But it’s just - they can’t hold it down. And as soon as the market selling eased, this thing exploded. All of these. Don’t, don’t look at these weak stocks. Ignore them.”

Allred: I have some empathy for folks who, in the last election, thought, “Hey, maybe this guy really will make my costs go down.” But the problem is they were lied to. And on the flip side, working folks across Texas know they’re working harder and harder for less while these openly corrupt jackasses are out there doing all kinds of stuff and getting ahead.

These are Iranian Israelis gathering in support of the Shah. They stand on the right side of history, and I have faith the majority of Israel also does. I hear no pro-separatist chants or calls to divide Iran into ethnostates. As it should be. We are one nation with one flag.

Added to the list of things I did not know… There are areas of the Grand Canyon you cannot go, and if you do, a Blackhawk helicopter will show up. I remember looking into this years ago and while most will claim it’s due to “cultural and spiritual” reasons, there are some very odd stories dating back in the early 1900’s about explorers finding caverns and hieroglyphs… If you also google map some of these restricted zones, the images are blurry and copy and pasted. Of course, again for “cultural and spiritual” reasons. Clip Full Show

We met once more with some of the survivors of the Andes tragedy and the family members of the deceased in the mountain right after they saw Society of the Snow. I’d dare to say the meeting took place thanks to the movie. This moving video —what transpires from this encounter— has an immeasurable value for us. To be a firsthand witness to how they hugged and to feel —almost touch— the love they shared among them was the best possible reward I got from shooting this story. In some cases, this was a reconciliation 51 years in the making. The fact that a movie has been able to bring a tiny bit of peace, maybe even has helped to bring down a wall of silence or even has been of assistance in mitigating some of the enduring pain from all these years, made it quite clear how necessary and important was to make it and how relevant it is the task we are dedicated to. Stories are important. Using fiction to be able to get into other people’s skin is such a powerful tool to feel empathy, to understand we are all in this together. We are all one. I would like to thank all the survivors for telling the stories of those who lived. And I would also like to thank those who didn’t come back for allowing them to do so. #SocietyOfTheSnow #LaSociedadDeLaNieve
