I’ve been in awe the past couple of weeks of just how the atmosphere has been at Memorial Stadium, and I can’t lie, it’s almost brought me to tears at times. Because growing up in Bloomington and being a diehard IUFB fan has been rough, and just looking at a recent game like this, it shows how much Coach Cig, the staff and players have flipped the culture in just half a season. Shoutout to all my diehards out there who have been here throughout the years. Enjoy this, because it’s special. #iufb

I just saw a video of someone tapping a card out of a toploader (upside down) and dropping it on the floor 😬 Which in all fairness is how I see most people tap a card out of a toploader. But it’s just as easy to do it right side up, and not risk dropping it on the floor. Or just be careful I guess lol

Situations❗️Runners at 1st and 2nd, hitter shows bunt and runner at 2nd steals 3rd. I am sure this was just a miscue but it’s a great lesson to show for this type of situation. If a hitter shows bunt and 3rd baseman breaks in, SS should be getting the bag. I always hated this scenario as a SS because you can’t shade too far up the middle incase a runner steals 3rd like this scenario but you also can’t be shaded too far towards 3rd incase a ball is hit on the ground to the right and you have to cover 2nd. If a 3rd baseman breaks in for the bunt but tries to get back to cover the bag on the steal, 9 times out of 10 they will be late getting there. Now, 3rd baseman can decide to stay back and cover the bag which is totally fine. It would just need to be communicated to the SS and catcher/pitcher before the pitch because SS can shade a little more up the middle and pitcher/catcher/1st would have to cover the bunt if it’s laid down. Every coach will have their preference depending on the game situation at hand.

Here we go — banging up another flag at work 🇦🇺 Nothing feels better than this, honestly. Every time I see the flag, I feel that energy — a reminder of how great our nation is. It makes me optimistic about the future for my children and the country they’re growing up in. Everywhere I go, I’m seeing more and more flags on homes. People message me asking, “Was it you? Was it the Sons putting flags up all around the city — even around the country?” The truth is, it’s not just us. There are people everywhere banging up flags — on gum trees, power poles, bridges. In the suburbs, families are proudly hanging the flag on their homes. And in workplaces too — I’m seeing more businesses flying the Aussie flag. If there’s no flag at your work, take one in. Ask the boss. Hang it up. Bring that energy into your workplace and your community wherever you can. And if you want to be part of a men’s group — a bunch of mates who are proud of the flag — that’s what we do. Is it weird that one of my favourite things about cruising is… WAVING?! They don’t promote that in the adverts! 😂👋 I can’t explain it but it fills me with lots of joy. I love it when people wave at me and I wave back, like here. 😅🌟 I’ll often spot somebody and do everything I can to get them to wave back at me. When they do I feel like I’ve won a game nobody knew we were playing. 🏆🥇 It’s pretty common for everybody to wave when a cruise ship sails away from a place. I love it even more if it’s a ship sailing past a ship, then you have hundreds and thousands of potential wavers!! 🤣👋🏼 Anybody else love it as much as me? It amuses me so much, maybe my waving friend and I don’t even speak the same language but it doesn’t matter, waving is universal. 😅👍🏼

Mom here: Sam has been having a little trouble with his back legs. Nothing new, just more dramatic lately. His back legs gave out trying to go up a flight of stairs - which is new. So we sat on the floor together and shared blueberries. Calling the vet to get him in for his Ketamine and Librela shot which always seem to help. Growing old is part of life, we will care for him just as he cared for me for so many years. Video: Sam lying on a tile floor being fed blueberries.

Supporting Ukraine isn't really about where you’re from; it’s just about being human. You can feel the strength of my country even from thousands of miles away, but you can’t force that on anyone who just doesn't want to see it. Honestly, there’s no point in trying to talk someone into feeling compassion. If there’s no room in your heart for Ukraine and our people right now, when things are this hard... it’s probably never going to be there. Love and empathy - they’re either there or they aren't. Simple as that.

As someone coming from gamedev, something as simple as planning and executing motion on the arm to this day gives me a feeling of wonder. It’s essentially just an IK solver from which the joint angles are computed and then applied to the motors. Nothing new. But it moves physically! (robotics people may now laugh at me haha)
