I once put the names of the people I was gossiping about in the "To:" window in order to get the spelling of their names correct and... you can probably guess the outcome.

Every single time. This is why, I have a 2 min delay set in Outlook before my e-mail ACTUALLY is sent. So inevitably, when I click the send button and immediately realise there is a mistake, I can open it up in the outbox and edit/correct it.

Got to chat with HR because I signed-off a department wide email 'Retards', instead of 'Regards'. Based on the "tone" and "wit" in the email my bosses weren't sure if it was intentional. TL;DR: professional called 200 people ruhtards. Found out you shouldn't do that, even if accurate.
