It's a tough call. At the end of the day someone is going to misuse it, but another person may come out with something similar. The best you can do is add warnings and guides if you do. Making the clones an even lower poly version of the same avi with 1 material helps a lot tho

Yeah in a perfect world everyone would use low poly clones for the afterimages. I’ve been thinking about potential reasonable restrictions that could encourage that without completely stomping on its usability. Ie:polygon/material limits.

I hope there won't be any bad actors that will try to replicate your effect and sell it despite you pondering whether or not to put it out there. Anyway, I'll stay updated on the matter. Also you should get in touch with @Lily_the_Birb, looks like it'd work well with her avis :o

I'd just like it for dance streaming and solo use. Seems so pretty for that purpose!

If i were to use that system, to help cut down the cost of using the system, i would try to make a second model where it doesnt have as many tris since they wont really be seeing it too much.

Vrchat has a ton of features nowadays that stops very poor avatars from being downloaded, all it needs is the user to set it up and its not hard to, if poly count/vram is a concern, there you go.
