Been using AI video tools for 2 years. My real complaint was never quality, it was the grind. Generate, hate it, generate again, sometimes a dozen times before something's usable. Seedance Enterprise 2.5 gave me a usable result on generation for this one. That's the difference that actually matters.... show more

Fewer regenerations isn't luck, it's the reference layer doing the work upfront. 50 assets in one generation: 30 images up to 4K, 10 videos and 10 audio clips, 30 seconds total each. Character, props, style all locked before the model even starts, so you're not gambling on consistency across takes. That's less compute burned per usable output, and less time between "I have an idea" and "I have a finished clip."

The editing is what actually saves the regenerations though. My old workflow was regenerate the whole clip to fix one thing. Seedance 2.5 lets me change one character, one product or the background inside a finished video while the camera motion and rhythm stay exactly where they were. That's not a nice-to-have, that's the cost-performance case for the whole tool.

30 seconds in one continuous shot changes what you're generating for. Instead of stitching 6 short clips and hoping the seams hold, it's one character, one lighting setup, one camera rhythm held straight through. Fewer generations to stitch means fewer chances for something to break between them.

What's on screen backs it up too: real physics on the water and fabric, lighting that holds across the full shot, camera moves that don't fight the footage. Ran the whole workflow through BytePlus Lumina, Seedream and SeeAudio feeding straight into Seedance as references. 10+ languages on top, so one core asset covers multiple markets without a full rebuild.

That change really came with Seedance 2.0, too. I had to regen less and "settle" less. Many times, Seedance 2.0 hit what I wanted right out of the gate. I'm afraid, since they have moved resources to 2.5, it's not quite as reliable as it used to be, but so far it's still been the best at helping me with my time spent on alternate takes.

Seedance 2.5 Official API is now live on @BytePlusGlobal

@seedance Seedance 2.5 looks seriously efficient.

@seedance Regenerating a 5-second clip for the 15th time just to make a character walk like a normal human is a different kind of spiritual workout.

@seedance Seedance 2.5 just dropped a full 30-second warrior backflip sequence on the first try… my old tools would’ve needed 12 generations and a blood sacrifice to the GPU gods just to get her feet facing the right way 😂

@seedance That's just incredible. @katesylvanwrite

@seedance Jesus this looks terrible.

@seedance 2.5 is incredibly good. The voice acting and body language is a big jump over 2.0. I just hate the cost 😭

@seedance This is high scale artistry

@seedance What, if any, local models do you find useful? Im having a hard time.

@seedance wow!

@seedance What do you mean by usable? Half of the arm disappears at 0:12

@seedance insane!! 👏👏👏

@seedance Will check this

@seedance A Cambrian Explosion of human creativity

@seedance Amazingly well defined. Thank you for the breakdown

@seedance perfect

@seedance Yeah sometimes you can have the finest detailed prompt and it would still throw out a random impossible neck turn right at the last second. To me it should always have been that you get credit back. Just have it so if you delete without downloading in say 2 minutes it’s void.

@seedance Intense. And the audio...

@seedance Very nice!

@seedance Does not ever matter how "good" it is. Its soulless and dead. Abomination.

@seedance it will get nerf

@seedance 🔥 I need to get on your level!

@seedance Looks super solid!

@seedance super cool!

@seedance Wow! Results look amazing

@seedance

@seedance Good point. However the unpredictable lottery can be a strength and it often gave me a good laugh

@seedance Regenerating a dozen times before it lands is a real common frustration.

@seedance Yeah but what is this for ? Any quality gain makes sense if storytelling can happen. This is just visuals, random stuff. It has no value if it isn’t a part of some idea or meaningful content.

@seedance Made this? what are you talking about...

@seedance This is what actually matters. A great clip after 12 generations is very different from a usable first pass. Most people don't have the patience to keep iterating on a video, especially when they have to wait a long time between generations.

@seedance Getting a usable result in fewer generations is a huge win
