Introducing “Super Punk World” — a 500-piece digital avatar collection hand-curated by our first Punk in Residence, Nina Chanel Abney. Inspired by iconic CryptoPunks traits in conversation with Super Cool World attributes, the collection utilizes the 3D medium to reimagine the viewing experience of Abney’s art through the Punk lens, inviting collectors to become a part of her work for the first time. I’m honored to share that I’ve been commissioned by Tad Smith to create a new work consisting of both a digital piece and its physical twin. The commission came after Tad encountered my FACES collection and connected deeply with one of the works, which had already been acquired. Rather than letting the moment pass, he chose to commission a new piece born from that same spirit and emotional language. I’m deeply grateful for his belief in the work and for the thoughtful connection that made this possible. Special thanks to Rob De Los Santos for facilitating this in such a meaningful way. This kind of dialogue between physical and digital practice is something I care about profoundly, and I’m excited to share both versions of the work here. "Walking a Fine Line"

(1) You’ll need to provide ID in order to use the #DigitalPound: “For the digital pound, tiered access would allow for different levels of user access and functionality based on the amount of identification (ID) a user is willing or able to provide.” (2) The Bank will dictate how much you can hold: “The Bank would place some limits on holdings of digital pounds, at least during its introductory period.” (3) The digital pound will be programmable, if not by the Bank itself then by third party providers: “Programmability, delivered by Payment Interface Providers, could also enable the use of smart contracts, which carry out specific actions based on pre-defined terms and conditions.” Quotes are from from the Bank of England’s Digital Pound consultation paper: Whatever the #DigitalPound will be, it won’t be cash. My love for MMA has given me so many gifts that I will never take for granted and one gift that I am most grateful for is being able to travel the world. Because of mma and the UFC I’ve been to the UAE many times and every time I go I fall more and more in love with Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is unlike any other place on earth, from the food, the culture to the hospitality, I’m never short of amazed by this place.
