'Beetlebum' turns 28 this week! Do you remember where you first heard it?

Probably much earlier on in the month, I was still at home, classes hadn't resumed yet and I was amazed by that new song playing on my radio stirring dreamy thoughts.

Think on R1. I wrote “Beetlebum” in the condensation on the window of my friend’s Mini Cooper and it kept reappearing for months

1999. I was 16, and there was a TV show called 'Música Líquida' ( 🇨🇴) I saw 'Beetlebum' there. I was blown away. It was love at first sight.

I do James but it’s hard to listen to now am 44, nostalgia you know 🤷🏻‍♀️I mean #britpop was such an era. Now everything is a bit.. boring.

Awesome song. I only found out about it in the last year or two. It has taken me years to gain an appreciation for Blur. Better late than never. Great band.

I remember it going in at number 1 the night you played @Rock_City_Notts. And you opened the set with it. Still to this day, one of my all-time favourite gigs 🙂
