Man, the more I watch old footage, the more I realize Michael Jackson was an absolute phenomenon a true once in a generation talent. There are moments in his performances where his movement, his control, his charisma it all feels so superhuman that you genuinely start to wonder if he was built different. Like he wasn’t playing by the same rules as the rest of us.🤦🏾‍♂️ And then you remember he was only 17 years old when he was doing all of that. Just a teenager. That level of greatness at such a young age is honestly insane. What a gift he was to the world 😮‍💨

This is Michael Jackson's last performance in his life. Happened 2009 Michael Jackson died barely 12 hours after this video, as he went home from the rehearsal ground and couldn't sleep in time for the next day's rehearsal, so he got very uncomfortable and his Doctor (Conrad Murray) injected him with an overdose of Propofol (an anaesthetic drug that makes people fall deeply in sleep. Mostly used by doctors before carrying out surgery on a patient) . Michael then went into cardiac arrest almost immediately, which coincidentally clashed with the exact moment that Conrad Murray stepped out of the room, leaving Michael unsupervised. Michael never opened his eyes ever again to see his beautiful children, family and beloved fans. . . In the video below, Michael performed the "Earth song" and as you can see, he had to wear baggy clothes partly to give him a more buffed up look, as he was getting thinner due to the extreme toil his body took during the previous years (trials, pain medications, etc) Michael left us with a final message to Earth and humans, pleading that we avoid wars and think about the innocent children who have died from pointless wars. This video is one of the most emotional performance I've ever seen Michael in, despite it being a rehearsal and not full concert performance

The Jackson 5 weren't just famous in the USA btw they were famous worldwide. By 1972, the Jackson 5 were touring in Europe and broke the attendance record of the Beatles. From 1973-1975, they were touring worldwide and performed over 380 concerts due to global demand. Michael had already dealt with intense fame before the age of 16. And this only amplified as the years went on and entered a whole new stratosphere during the Thriller era. Michael was not only seriously overworked his entire life and ESPECIALLY during his childhood, but he also dealt with an intense level of global fame from a young age. And you really can't compare this to other famous child stars because *this* level of global fame and public scrutiny was on another level and he dealt with it for his entire life.
