Look, this is great. Lovely. I have 3 kids who are grown. My oldest did NOT respond this way to my second or my third. My second did not for my third. Not all little kids fawn all over babies, especially when they demand so much of mom’s time.

Having an only child is evil. The only excuse is if you're infertile. I'm an only child and that is my earnest opinion.
