Naidu had written a detailed letter to N Chandrababu Naidu, with copies to Lokesh Nara and Pawan Kalyan. He stated that in the letter she spoke about a 30 year association that later turned into a relationship and alleged emotional abuse, humiliation, financial hardship and threats. He said she had mentioned that she suffered deeply while her daughter was battling a serious autoimmune disease and that she received no meaningful support. He added that she clearly warned that a person of such character should not be given high public office.
