Before CGI, one actor terrified an entire generation — with nothing but a smile. In IT (1990), Tim Curry built Pennywise using only practical performance. Kids avoided him on set, crew pulled off headphones, and audiences couldn’t believe a TV horror felt this real.

The 4Runner has built a reputation for being one of the most reliable and capable off-road vehicles ever made. But with a new generation comes the real question: does it still earn that reputation? In this video I test the new 2026 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium in both dirt and snow to see where it shines, and well… where it doesn’t. Hint: I was ready to get out. See you on the channel! #4runner #toyota #offroad #overlanding

It has been 30 years since Jesse and Celine got off that train in Vienna. But did you know Richard Linklater made this movie hoping to find a woman he met in real life? In 1989, he spent one magical night walking around Philadelphia with a woman named Amy. They lost touch, and he thought if he made this film, she might see it and contact him. Tragically, he didn't find out until years later that she had passed away in an accident just weeks before filming began. The entire Before trilogy is dedicated to her memory.

Everyone says that the orb filmed by ABC News in New Jersey is Venus or some bright star. But this isn’t an ordinary citizen using an iPhone to film the sky—this is ABC News, with professional cameras and a stable tripod. If they’re using a tripod, then why is 'Venus' moving? It should remain fixed in one spot for the entire minute it was filmed. I sped up the video and added a reference... But I'm not surprised! (1/5)🧵

this was Seungri and you can deny it as you want, but you are only fooling yourself with it. these two are still in contact and if you loved your fav that much and would pay a real attention to him - not just flexing with him online like an idiot - , it would be clear to you too.

People don’t grasp the magnitude of what Lee Know did at the MAMA Awards 2025. He showed why he is considered, not only the best dancer and performer of his generation, but also in the top 5 of all K-pop idols. He performed for more than 10 minutes with such a severe leg injury that makes it impossible for him to walk properly, needing a wheelchair to get around. Even with this, he delivered an outstanding performance, one at the same level of quality as every one of his presentations. It's not only an inspiration, but a pride and joy to stan someone like him. STAYS and Jewels can say with the outmost confidence that they stan an idol that comes once in a lifetime. There’s a certain kind of Cardinal who doesn’t need a Hall of Fame plaque to matter to this city, and Matt Carpenter is exactly that guy. A 13th round pick out of TCU who nobody expected much from, and he turned himself into an All-Star three times over through nothing but relentless work and a swing that felt uniquely his own. 2013 will always be the signature year, leading all of baseball in runs, hits, and doubles, but what made Carp special was never really about one season. It was the decade plus of showing up, grinding, and becoming one of the most beloved players of his generation in St. Louis. Twelve seasons in the birds on the bat, a career that took him to New York and San Diego and brought him home again because that’s just what St. Louis does to guys like him, and a legacy built on hard hits, grit, and a whole lot of doubles into the gap. Thank you for everything, Carp. This city will always claim you as one of ours. BetUS Sportsbook & Casino

Star Wars pioneered so many special effects that we take for granted today. When filming the destruction of Alderaan in Star Wars, the effects team at Industrial Light & Magic used a surprisingly simple practical effect. The planet was a painted sphere suspended in front of a black backdrop. To create the explosion, they rigged the miniature with pyrotechnics and filmed it with high-speed cameras at a faster frame rate so the blast would appear massive and cinematic when slowed down. One interesting detail is that the explosion was partially achieved using gasoline and powdered cement. The cement gave the blast a heavier, planetary look rather than a quick fireball. Because the miniature exploded outward so quickly, the slowed footage helped sell the illusion of an entire planet tearing apart in space. The shot lasts only a few seconds in the final film but became one of the most iconic visual effects moments in cinema history, created years before CGI existed. (Original 1977 footage)

This Polymarket script is showing some unreal results I honestly can’t believe it. This trader wrote a script using OpenClaw and made $700,000 He’s not an insider Not some once-in-a-generation genius Just a trader with a good head who wrote a working script Profile: Copytrade: I don’t know how he manages to do it, but the script itself is extremely simple. No huge databases No insanely complex infrastructure Nothing rocket-science level Here is the full strategy of the script: Bets are placed not on event outcomes, but on price inefficiencies Thousands of fast trades accumulate into a massive total profit In calm markets, risks remain minimal, while strong trends allow capital to grow rapidly Most traders cannot react fast enough, but the bot turns market delays into real money.

Major Kung Fu Panda energy, just way smaller and fluffier. Watch out, world — a new legend is born, one tiny paw step at a time. 💫 Source: pupukuaipao/ Douyin

Of the seven Americas players who landed at 6:45 this morning in Miami from Mexico, only Chris Nido made his tee time, which fortunately was the last one off 10 at 9 a.m. Nido said they were supposed to land around midnight, but after taking off from Mexico City, there was a medical emergency on the flight and they had to make an emergency landing in Veracruz. Deplaned, got a new plane, didn’t take off until after 2 a.m. local. “The only way I made it is I left my golf clubs,” said Nido, who is using a friend’s set.

THIS MAN HASN’T OPENED HIS TASK MANAGER IN A WEEK AND HIS ENTIRE LIFE IS STILL ON TRACK he dumped everything into one folder before bed and closed his laptop woke up to a system that had already sorted every note and flagged every stalled project and assigned every task his coworkers are still living in their inboxes the only difference is one folder called CAPTURE and claude running at 8pm every night every idea goes in and claude files it and nothing requires a decision and nothing gets lost

Who remembers the Umbro Cup? Back in 1995, a year before they hosted Euro 96, England held a four-team tournament featuring themselves, Brazil, Sweden and Japan. On 8th June, Elland Road was the venue as England played Sweden. This was a period when, whatever happened and whoever was in the respective teams, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 just couldn’t beat 🇸🇪. This game was no different. With the match approaching the 90th minute, Sweden were 3–1 up. However, David Platt pulled one back before the pièce de résistance from Darren Anderton. There’s something satisfying about a goal going in off the post; this one went in off two. Great finish.

Massive performance improvement. This is a bit more of technical post, but man do I love this stuff! Units navigate the map using a 'Navigation Mesh'. Before, I was using one giant nav mesh that spanned the entire map. The more objects that were placed (especially on a large map such as this 'RadarAttack' map designed by Syphotic | Steel Command), the larger the 'lag' would be after placement. You can see here that there is a massive frame drop and the navmesh doesnt update for almost 5 seconds. Now, there are a ton of tiny navmeshes that connect to one another, and together they cover the whole map. Now, when an object is placed, the navmesh will update instantly, because it no longer needs to parse through every object on the map (potentially thousands!!!). It only needs to parse through the objects that exist in the mini navmesh that the object was placed in (probably only 1-5 objects now!). Performance XP Boost +100! Charles Horwood You might appreciate this one :) #Rts #RTSGame #IndieGame

Director Ma mentioned Junhui again in their interview at the Douyin Movie Wonder Night today 🥺🥹 👤 one of the most painful things for an actor is being typecast into a certain kind of image/role at a particular stage of their career, but actually everyone has different sides to them 👤 what makes me especially happy (abt this project) is that whether it’s Aruna, Bai Ke, Bella or Junhui who couldn’t be here today due to work commitments, I believe audiences are going to see a completely different side of them, one they’ve never seen before

SGA likely didn’t suffer the injury last night. He’s been suffering with an abdominal strain for a couple of games now. He likely exacerbated it last night and OKC felt like this was a good time in the schedule to get him some rest. Here’s a clip of him before the Denver game on Sunday. You can tell he winces in pain when he jumped into an OKC staffer pregame.

A driver couldn’t believe his eyes after an Ealing Council traffic warden slapped him with a parking ticket for being on double yellow lines... only to realise the warden had parked his own moped on the exact same double yellows to hand it out! You actually can’t make this up. Does the warden get a ticket in the post too, or does Ealing Council give them a free pass?
