Before I ever hire a new employee I always do a deep dive on past performance. Maybe #Canada before you hire Mark Carney as #PrimeMinister you may want to hear what his previous employer had to say about his executional skills. Perhaps it would be best if he spent...

You’re an idiot, @kevinolearytv .Using Liz Truss’s statement on Carney to bash him is a typical MAGA move. Liz Truss was the shortest serving PM of the UK- IN HISTORY! She lasted 45 days and was forced to resign because of her economic mismanagement of the UK. Mark Carney was one of her biggest critics, and rightfully so. Using Truss to bash Carney is just pandering to Canada’s mini-MAGA movement’s lowest common denominator who won’t do the research. Are they really that desperate and worried about Poilievre’s ability to win this thing? I guess I would be too.. #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics #cdnmedia

He has a PhD from Oxford and led two central banks. That’s more than enough. We don’t need professional politicians.

It's very disturbing that our Dollar is at $0.70 cents, and Canadians are completely unaware of Mark Carneys WORK history.. but they think he has a "Good Resume".

1/4 Jesus, Mary, & the ghost of common sense, Kevin, you auditioned for politics once, we took one look and passed. Didn’t even make it to the bench, let alone the game. Yet here you are, handing out career advice to PM Carney, one of the most respected economists in the world

Such stupid, uniformed comments from @kevinolearytv Maybe quote a PM that lasted more than 45 days before she was turfed out on her ass because she mismanaged the UK economy 👇

How are Carney and Poilievre positioning themselves up there w/r/t handling Trump’s tariff strategies? Is there any daylight between them? Neither seems to be seizing the opportunity to form a NA trading bloc as you’ve advised.

Perfect — you want us to believe a 15 day prime minister who is really an abomination, never deserved the job in first place? Kevin are you turning into that Tory influencer voices who will shill for anything now? My advice to you, a shark, speak with a CRO of bank, who may give you a better feedback from Mark, than fscking Liz.

Mark Carney lied and he keeps digging! Listen to this word salad. I don’t think it answers why he lied. Check it out. What do you think? Q: You said you weren't the chair anymore when the decision was made, but it was made back in fall, and you wrote a letter about it. How can you square that? CARNEY: Look, there's several elements to the transaction and I should have been more precise in my answer. There's an overall move with a plan of arrangement, and the plan of arrangement and the agreement of all that, which is also true, it's complicated. The corporation and the company, which happened after us was. I think the core though, is, what are we actually talking about? We're talking about the technical change to where the head office is. No difference to any employment. The technical change, no difference to any employment here in Canada, no difference to any of the operations here in Canada. And in fact, on net, what the technical change does is improves the access to capital. Q: It makes you look like you're trying to distance yourself from moving headquarters from Canada to the United States. Why would you do that? CARNEY: As I say, it's a technical change. It enhances the liquidity. Brookfield is a great Canadian company. It's a great Canadian success story. If you look at the company still listed on Toronto, the employees all still here, I would say a number of the employees actually live here in Oakville and, you know, having greater access to capital is a good thing for Canada, good thing for Canadian growth. Q: You've been accused of lying. Did you lie, sir. You said you should have been more precise. CARNEY: There's multiple aspects. Ok some of my - sometimes I answer questions that go into details when I should keep it at a higher level. That's part of the problem with not being a politician.

This exchange between Tucker Carlson and Professor Jiang Xueqin on the current state of Canada is worth watching. TUCKER: You mentioned Canada. Most Americans don't even know the capital of Canada. Canada does not appear on their radar, doesn't figure in their thoughts. But you described it as probably, quote, probably the richest country in the world. I think that's objectively true. And yet Canada is not a rich country. In fact, it's getting poorer. Its life expectancy is declining. Its GDP is declining, and that's on purpose. The nation of Canada has been suppressed on purpose. Its population is being killed off by the state through its assisted suicide program and its population is changing through mass immigration against the will of the population. So that country is being held down on purpose. And my question is, by whom and why? JIANG: Sure. That's a great question. And it's something that I struggle with all the time because I am a Canadian citizen. I went to school there. So my answer is that Canada was never really a nation-state. It's more of a glorified resource colony for the British, the city of London and the reality is now that the British are under a lot of strain, the state of London is under a lot of financial pressure. It sees places like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. And what do you do if you have financial issues? You do corporate restructuring, right? You change the middle management. right and historically you know the British got along very well with the Indian elite right they went into India and stole tons of dollars from uh the indians and the Indian elite were perfectly happy to help them so why not use the same model for Australia and for Canada So there are millions of Indians who immigrated to Canada in the past five years and it's put a lot of strain on the Canadian economy because housing prices have exploded and so ordinary Canadians can no longer afford to buy a house. And it's put tremendous pressure on the Canadian welfare system, on the Canadian economy. And you would think that the proper strategy would have a moratorium where they're like, you know what, we've had too many immigrants and we need to close the borders and absorb these immigrants because we want to ensure that these immigrants have proper housing, they have decent jobs, right? You would think that that'd be the right strategy. And instead, Mark Carney goes to India and says, we want more Indians, and also, we'll give you scholarships to come to Canada to study for free. Meanwhile, there are a lot of Canadians who are homeless, who are unemployed, and who cannot put food on the table. But hey, we want more Indians. So if it's not corporate restructuring, if it's not trying to asset strip Canada, I really don't understand the strategy for this. TUCKER: Well, I mean, it's a kind of genocide against Canadians, people whose ancestors built the country, but you wonder what the purpose is. Because it is happening all over the West, all over the English speaking world in the white countries. And it's not an accident, it's not organic. So it's a big picture that spans from Australia to Ottawa.
