You know, we like to talk a lot, but not a lot of people like to live it out. And I make mistakes, but I want to try to live it out to the best of my ability. I think secondly, through the way of communication, I've always had a heart to make complex ideas simpler to understand because I'm not a smart guy. I have a hard time reading Shakespeare and complex literature, so I like doing that. But sometimes I'll be sitting and talking with someone, and I feel like God tells me something about the person. They're struggling with something or if they've got a physical ailment and I'll ask. And sometimes it's true. Sometimes it's not. I'm not not discouraged if it's right or wrong, but if it's right, sometimes God speaks through that way. Those are a few ways God speaks through me, but, but the intrusive thing is so beautiful because I think he can speak to everyone intrusively and it is so sweet when it happens. And it was, it was happening this morning to me in the shower, which is so sweet and beautiful, you know. I struggle a lot with what people think about me because I've always struggled with people pleasing before being a Christian. And so, you know, if I'm misunderstood or someone takes something in the way that I didn't say it, I get hurt because I'm like, oh, I didn't mean it that way. Or, you know, whatever. So I'm kind of talking to Jesus and I'm in the shower praying and I'm going, man, God, I want to be more like you. I want to be how you want me to be. I want to love you. And I want to be your son. And I just want to focus on being yours. And I don't want to care what other people think. And this, this and that. And Jesus was speaking to me about some practical things I needed to do. Like it would help you if you, you know, stopped looking at what people say online. It would help if you deleted Instagram. And it would help if you did this. And, it would help if you would just trust other people to do what they're supposed to do. So you can focus on being mine. And I'm sitting there in the shower going like, wow, this is so good. I don't fight tyranny because I hate the tyrants, though I do hate them. I do it because I love the people behind me I'm defending. I don't know how all this is going to end, but if you want a fight, you better believe you've got one. I've been holding back my real capabilities. I'm almost ashamed of it. It's a little scary. You've obviously been in F2, but this is something different altogether, the pressure it brings.' Arvid: "It is very different and to be honest it's hard for me to really answer that now because I've only done a weekend, I don't really know what it's all like but I think it's an interesting point you make on pressure because a lot of people told me and you know.. I've done one weekend I don't want to talk too much but coming into this weekend a lot of people said there's going to be a lot of pressure and all this and that. In the end, I'm here for myself, I worked my whole life to get to Formula One, I don't have to do it for anyone, I'm here for myself because when I was five years old I had a dream and my dream was to be in Formula One and I was living my dream today and I just wanted to do as best as I possibly could you know and yeah."

#poon_mit12 🐶: I want to tell you guys something. At first I kept thinking really hard about whether I should say it or not, because it might make things tense. But the image people have of me is.. the impression of me is that I'm the type of person who is like a chatterbox, right? But I actually think a lot. Lately, I've started to feel like when people don't know what else to tease me about, they just tease me by saying I talk too much or that I don't make any sense. But seriously, I actually do make sense. Sometimes, it's just for the vibe of the show. *starts speaking in English* I have days where I'm just totally exhausted. And to be honest, there are people who are much better at talking than I am, but that specific moment, when that (loud/talkative) image was what people remembered of me. There were people who were telling me to entertain and put on a show, as if I could be an MC. So, I went all out. But it turned out that from the very first day I went to GMMTV, I ended up looking like someone who talks too much. And honestly, deep down, I don't really like that. I feel like, why am I like that? And then I reflect on myself, asking whether I'm really like that or not. But when I think about it, in some parts where I'm comfortable, I really am like that. I do just ramble on and talk a lot but it's not all the time, everyone. Or sometimes people tease me like, 'Hey, can you stop talking yet?' even when I haven't said anything and I'm just sitting quietly. I feel like I don't really like that image people have of me today. But I don't intend to change who I am, either. I'll just think of it as being 100% myself. I just want everyone to understand that, actually, I also have moments where I might be a bit drained, or moments where I don't speak. If there's a day where I'm quiet, I'm totally fine, okay? And also, it feels bad for my own mental health. *starts speaking in English* The thing is, when I'm with my high school friends, I never have this kind of image at all. It wasn't until I came here and on the first day, I was like, 'Yeah, I'll entertain,' thinking deep down that it'd be good if I could become an MC or something. So now I just felt like, 'Why?' Did I mess something up? I'm afraid people will find me annoying, too. I'm actually campaigning for people to stop saying that 'I don't make sense' or that 'I talk too much,' because it can actually make me lose certain types of jobs. The idea that I don't make sense, I really don't like it. I don't want it to be like, 'Oh, when we're out promoting together and you don't know who else to tease, you just pick on Poon.' Whoa, seriously, I am a good kid. When it comes to work, I am incredibly focused.. but right now I have to hurry because I've only got 15 minutes to commute.

“You're not entitled to get what you want. I love you. You're entitled to earn what you're willing to go work for. And that's true in our families, in our parenting, in our marriage, in our companies, in society. If we want it, go earn it. If that's positivity, have positivity. I think and I am a positive person. I am jacked. I am excited. Obviously, you can feel my energy through technology here, I hope. Frankly, think positive people just need to get a lot stronger. I really do. I mean, I don't want to call them weak because people hear that differently but it kind of is. Look, if you want that positivity to stick, you’ve got to get tougher. Not sacrifice your love and your care and your empathy, but you got to get tough. And then we have to figure out how to love the people who are cynical because I don't think there's a ton of bad people in the world and I don't think there's a ton of bad people on teams. But I do think there are people who've been burned out. I do think there are people who have been through things in their lives. They've been through things in their company. They're experiencing stuff somewhere else. For whatever reason, they just kind of got run down and cynical and negative, or whatever. Or they're just wired a little different than we are. And I don't to hate on those people. I want to win those people. They don't have to be like me. They don't have to have my energy. But I want those people on my team. I want to love those people. And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, ‘Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.’ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesn’t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, ‘Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live. I don't want do what you guys do.’ And then I really hope that that person leaves us and goes and joins our competitor.”

"You know, I don't, I have not changed. I really make the movies for myself. I really, really do." Q: "For no one else, or just sort of like what you ultimately want to see in them?" "Yeah, I think so." Q: "As a fan yourself, too? "What I want to see, yeah, like as a, like, you only have the benchmark of yourself. Like, if you ever try and make a movie for someone other than yourself... I feel like you're going to blow it. "Because you can't, you don't know how anyone else is going to feel. So like, you know, you go, 'okay, do I find that emotionally real? Do I find that interesting? Is that the Krypton I want to go to? Is that the Superman I want to see fight?' "You know, those are the questions you ask yourself constantly. And I think once you, if you're constantly answering yes to that, then you'll end up the more, the film will end up being more interesting to you. "And ultimately, the film being interesting to you allows you to make the movie better because you're interested. "If you make it for someone else over a two-year period, you're just going to not give a sh*t at some point because you're just like, 'I don't care. This is not my movie. I don't care about this movie because I made it for someone else.'" Q: "I imagine that's a very hard thing to do in Hollywood, though, is to keep your vision clear with so much collaboration, with so much going on, with so many other people in the mix." "It really depends on the project. For instance, it was hard on Guardians, you know, where I feel like what ended up happening on that movie was people, we did end up, they did end up asking me like, 'this is for kids, right?' "And I got to honestly say that I knew it was for kids, but I didn't want to make it for kids. You know what I mean? And I think that's what happened to that movie. It did get like second guessed at the end and turned more into a movie for kids. "My point of view is I can think like a child if I want. I have that enthusiasm for movies and what I think is cool. You, the collective you, don't need to try and second guess me and go, 'this is what we think a kid would like.' "And then it's like, 'oh, a song' or whatever. Then you're just like, 'okay, whatever.'"

💬 Kim Seokjin, the king of communication! Is there something you'd like to do with ARMY these days? 🐹 I really like jungle and survival stuff, you know. I'd love to rent a deserted island and live a wild life together like on “The Law of the Jungle.” 🐹 I hope everyone would find it fun. Others say it's tough, but I find it fun. 🐹 We could fish, hunt, pick coconuts, and build a shelter. I sometimes think it would be really fun to do that for a couple of days. 🐹 But I guess many people wouldn't like it. That's just a dream of mine. 💬 What would you like to be in charge of in the jungle? 🐹 I'd just like to watch from above. I've done it a lot of those jungle survival before so I'm curious how other people will adapt. 🐹 It's not that I don't want to do it. I actually enjoy it. I even said I want to do it after I finish my military service. That's why I've sought out similar opportunities in many variety shows I went to. 🐹 Do I not sound convincing enough? I'm not lying, though.
