I think whats been lost is the feeling of characters being "drawn" on screen. The black effects used to be treated like real brush strokes, transitioning between scenes and making it feel like everything was being painted live. In that sense, the white bg also acted as a canvas.

the moment boy with luv started, I completely lost my sh*t. I became an army because of this song. one random day, I walked into a japanese anime shop, heard it playing, pulled out my phone, and used shazam. I had no idea that a single tap would open the door to the magic shop and change my life forever. I owe so much to this. it was the beginning of everything. having it as the surprise song felt like the universe bringing me back to where it all started, and I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to describe what that means to me. the best night ever 💜

This is one of my turntables for Bumblebee's damage variant from Transformers Rise of the Beasts. We use renders like these to critique our work on the characters in a sterile environment before putting them into shots. Normally, fans don't get to see these behind the scenes looks at our characters, but I convinced the marketing team to also include this turntable in the official breakdown for the film as I think it is super cool to see how the characters are made and brought to life. I have so much behind the scenes work to share about Transformers but unfortunately 99% of it is under NDA so the odds are that no one else will ever see them, as unfortunate as that is.

Underrated Tesla feature in the summer… Being able to turn on the AC remotely twenty min before I get to my car and being greeted with a cool climate instead of a melting sauna. I used to always forget to do this when I first got my Tesla, but it is SO nice having it pre cooled when you get inside. It makes a huge difference where I live in Texas!

Fun fact; I started Gloombles in 2024, didn't have a name at the time. I Started the X this past February, but was still finalizing the idea. The art started as illustration before I switched to pixels. I guess you can say I was ahead of the meta. If anyone can guess this correctly I’ll hire them a gtd spot…👇 Can anyone guess why I made the switch to pixels?

There is just no way he got that far Into the water. Not like he was running very fast. We used to jump off waterfalls with some serious speed and would get maybe 20 feet away from the falls... I don't buy it

I don't know if I missed #TeaseYaGame but just in case! Lair of the Leviathan is an open world crpg inspired by classic western games of the past. Everything is hand drawn, we use no procedural generation and there is a huge open world to explore.

While flying I like to track my flight, but it was slow & ugly so I started building v0⁠ing my own. Some insights: • I started out with test data, but adding an API key & server endpoint to get actual flights was a breeze • I got back 20,000 flights which murdered DOM performance. v0 suggested implementing it as a . With some Grok research help, it shockingly nailed it. Notably, it used an OffscreenCanvas to render the airplane SVG to and subsequently `drawImage` it. It got approximately 100x faster and smoother.
