Before I started, Ice Water was described as being classic anime inspired, so I traced some classic anime scenes with the characters to try and get used to everything. Guess where each shot is from!

As I continue to learn animation, I wanted to get some more practice in with a longer scene and some more expressiveness! The beautiful Marha is from SLaD I hope you all enjoy! It is such a joy to bring characters to life.

I think whats been lost is the feeling of characters being "drawn" on screen. The black effects used to be treated like real brush strokes, transitioning between scenes and making it feel like everything was being painted live. In that sense, the white bg also acted as a canvas.

When Dragon Ball Daima brought back the CLASSIC Dragon Ball Z 'energy' sound effects, I was so incredibly happy! These sounds are just as iconic to the series as anything else in my view (even though Toei had used most of them on other projects for years before DB ever started)

the moment boy with luv started, I completely lost my sh*t. I became an army because of this song. one random day, I walked into a japanese anime shop, heard it playing, pulled out my phone, and used shazam. I had no idea that a single tap would open the door to the magic shop and change my life forever. I owe so much to this. it was the beginning of everything. having it as the surprise song felt like the universe bringing me back to where it all started, and I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to describe what that means to me. the best night ever 💜

recently watched Chainsaw Man, and this anime inspired me so much that I just HAD to bring Reze to life!💜 She is such an incredibly cool character. I spent about 4 hours filming in the freezing water and froze completely, but I put my whole heart into this! I really hope I managed to convey this amazing atmosphere to you✨

This is one of my turntables for Bumblebee's damage variant from Transformers Rise of the Beasts. We use renders like these to critique our work on the characters in a sterile environment before putting them into shots. Normally, fans don't get to see these behind the scenes looks at our characters, but I convinced the marketing team to also include this turntable in the official breakdown for the film as I think it is super cool to see how the characters are made and brought to life. I have so much behind the scenes work to share about Transformers but unfortunately 99% of it is under NDA so the odds are that no one else will ever see them, as unfortunate as that is.

This is my favorite VFX shot from the Universal video! I used a motion controlled DRONE to get the same camera move during the day AND night, then used the shadow pass from the render to reveal the night shot.

As many of you already know, I had the incredible opportunity to direct Rebecca Sugar's latest music video "Ice Water", and I also managed to do some animation for it! So, here's the animation breakdown of my favorite shot, Epiphany's cute wink! 💛 Check out Lonely Magic!! ✨

Overheard one of our clients on call talking about how perfectly we had done the job for him🔥🙏🏽 : "I used to think drilling for water was an expensive guessing game until I used Verdisol Agro. Their drone water survey showed us exactly where the water was before we started drilling. It saved us time, stopped us from wasting money on a dry hole, and gave us total peace of mind. Highly recommend!"

🔥 FIRE TRAIL ALLI?!?! 🔥 🐊 Alli behind the scenes 🐊 She's the fourth brawler I made for Brawl Stars! 📒 The main fantasy we wanted to achieve was of a hunter that could finish off enemies with low health, and has some mechanic tied to enemies HP. 🧵 Open the thread to check out some development videos from before release. ❔ Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer as many as I can.

Fun fact; I started Gloombles in 2024, didn't have a name at the time. I Started the X this past February, but was still finalizing the idea. The art started as illustration before I switched to pixels. I guess you can say I was ahead of the meta. If anyone can guess this correctly I’ll hire them a gtd spot…👇 Can anyone guess why I made the switch to pixels?
