Before the Duke Nukem Forever you know, there was another Duke Nukem Forever. Development began in 1994 as a 2D platformer with motorcycles, dismemberment and some impressive tech for the era. Even the name "Duke Nukem Forever" started here.

is there a playable build ? this looks like fun

I'm still hoping for the classic Dos-Era side scrolling Duke Nukem games to make a comeback in like a collection of some sort, maybe include Cosmo as an unlockable since both characters were in Rad Rodgers together

Duke Turrican Forever

The original Duke Nukem platformer is one of the first games I remember beating all by myself as a kid, I'd have loved to play this!

Wow really? Even before Duke 3D? And here I thought the joke was 1-2-3D-Forever(four-ever)...

I love the weapon that shoots a million tampons

Don't take forever to finish it 😁

@DuvalMagic

Id play this

dude nukem in general was a platformer shooter...

holy cow. that's cool...

whats your opinion on the project to bring this version to life

you should release new Build Engine games yearly, gameplay and aesthetic is eternal

Was it Stargunner tech? It’s kind a same.

Reminds me of Crack dot Com's Abuse.

Isn't that just Abuse?

How about a new Commander Keen instead?

I keep reading this game later turned into Alien Rampage. Is this true?

Is this the same engine as Agent Armstrong?

I thought it started with the announcement screenshots I saw in PC Gamer. I've still got the issue in another room. I've never seen that, before. Coming right after the other platformers, though, it would have been an insane step up in game-play. That's pretty wild.

I wish this could get revived...

It's when we started using DNF for "Did Not Finish".

I kind of wished it came out. ☢️
