Before the Horn, greatest all-time performances in a loss...

The first thing I thought of was Katie Smith putting up 28 pts & 11 rebounds for Ohio State in the 1993 NCAA final. That was the game where Sheryl Swoopes scored 47 for Texas Tech to win 84-82.

#Capitanes #Kings #NBAGLEAGUE

Harvey Haddix was the first one that came to mind for me. Also Stafford going for 520 yards in the Matt Flynn Game.

LeBron in 2015 finals (should have been MVP)

The conversation is great, but @CourtneyRCronin is in her phone the entire time! 😂

Jerry West as finals MVP on the losing team...

Great question. I'd have to say (basically b/c of the 30 for 30) the Catholics v Convicts game. With that tight of a game, to lose on the 2 pt conversion was heartbreaking. Though Miami lost, they did play tough to the very end.

Forgotten fact about that Haddix game (revealed in 1989, at a banquet celebrating the 30th anniversary), the Braves were stealing signs and knew what pitch was coming! Haddix still managed to retire the first 36 hitters of the 2-time defending NL Champions' lineup.
