1. Being loved at home and having a good example of love from home does not guarantee you'll get into a healthy relationship or marriage. I have said this countless times. The beauty of being loved at home is that you'll always have a good support system if things go south. But whether your relationship is beautiful or toxic is entirely up to you. Your parents chose themselves and worked through their relationship. You'll have to choose your own partner yourself and build your relationship. Your parents did not have healthy relationship because their parents had healthy relationship. They did that by themselves. Healthy relationship is not transmitted by genetics. Most people use emotions over logic and so choose nonsense. If you've been shown the liht and was taught good values, it is up you to use it to your benefit. The universe is not a reward system. Healthy relationship will not come to you simply for being a good person. You have to vet by yourself and for yourself to choose someone that is compatible with you and loves you with their life.

Marc Andreessen on the 3 things he looks for when investing in a startup The first thing Marc Andreesen looks for is a big market: “Is there a big existing market that you think you can go after and displace incumbents? Or do you believe there will be a new market that will be big?” The second thing he looks for is a 10x better product: “Is there a fundamental technology or economic change that justifies a new company? And the way I always think about that is: Is there a 10x change happening in the technology landscape? Is something 10x faster, 10x cheaper, or 10x better? If it’s not 10x, we as both VCs and entrepreneurs have to ask ourselves if it’s really worth doing because it’s really hard to start new companies . . . Existing companies are usually pretty good at what they do. So for a new company to exist, it has to bring a product to market that’s so much better than what exists that it punches through the status quo.” The third is the team: “Is the team outstanding? . . . You want to have a founding team of complementary skillsets. You want to have at least one super strong technologist — quite possibly more than one. Some of the best startups are actually more than one founding technologist. Many parents believe fear is the way to get their child to behave. Some people actually feel proud that their child feared them. Not understanding the cost that comes with any relationship where fear is used to gain control. And there are many costs. The first cause is the lack of trust. When asked to clarify or address it you go mute and keep dodging the conversation. 🤷🏾‍♂️ 🤷🏾‍♂️ Something is definitely not adding up here !! Have you gotten a no apology apology? “I’m sorry YOU feel that way” is a non apology. It feels invalidating because it’s someone telling us they’re sorry for what we feel. It shuts down curiosity and empathy. Here’s the thing: you don’t need to *agree* with someone to understand their perspective. When someone shares what they feel instead of deflection or getting defensive. Take a deep breath. Get genuinely curious. Try to understand what they feel by asking more questions. This is a sign of emotional maturity. And most importantly, don’t apologize if you aren’t sorry. If you hear someone’s perspective and see it differently— you don’t need to apologize. You can say “I completely see where you’re coming from.” You don’t need to push your perspective. Healthy relationships are about respect. Not right or wrong. Stay curious. Stay connected.
