I think it is, and if not, it should be illegal for them to be able to have access to your files without your written consent.

Regardless if it's illegal or not, once commercial studios find out about it they will drop all support immediately.

Yeah, it's scummy. But I think that applies only to their cloud service. And, unless they've installed some kind of remote access software with CC, there's no way they can access your files locally or on a different cloud service. And I think their cloud service is ending.
