What a horse ๐ฉต๐

My favourite flat horse of all time. Not the best but unquestionably the bravest. Had the biggest heart that he literally ran out. It was the saddest I have ever been at the passing of a racehorse that day.

And a reminder just how good Simon Holt's commentary is

Trained by the master....

Legend

Ohhh, there was, there really was He was a tremendous battler, never gave up, what a horse David Elsworth's assessment of [Persian Punch] at two was that he was a boat! And then there was Choisir

And how exactly does Big Orange get in the same sentence as the other three? ๐ค

2/2 Wonderful, wonderful horse. Cried buckets at Ascot when he died. So unfair, he should have had a long and happy retirement coming back to courses so people could see him.

Saw him win his first race at Salisbury. Brave as Punch that day like many other days in his racing career

Love how into it the crowd are....1st race of the day!
