The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. Took a walk around Lakewood CC this past wknd for the first time since December to see how the course held up through the winter. Everything looks good. We are ready for some spring sun and warmth to begin the growth season. A big question I get is what was done to the Great Hazard on #6 which is now #15. It was completely redone. Moved about 15-20 yds forward so a lay up is a shorter shot. The left side was opened up and fairway expanded to allow for a bail out if you don’t take on the entire span. The hazard itself was sunken down about 3 ft to allow you to see it from the tee and fairway. It was also expanded diagonally to the right as that side is where you want to come in from on your third shot but you better make sure you can clear the top right of it. The last pic compliments of J. Liebert Golf Pics is the before version. I’d say the new version is pretty darn good.

Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. Infantry Month - Being an Infantryman is the core of what the Marine Corps and the Army is. Make no mistake, if you’re not Infantry, your sole purpose is to support the Infantry. - March isn’t just another month, Infantry Month is about you, the Infantryman. A month to highlight you, for you to take pride in being an Infantryman because being an Infantryman truly is the best job in the military. I extend this to ALL Infantrymen; Marines, Army, doesn’t matter to me, you’re all my brothers and March is our month. - Most of the Infantrymen I’ve ever known enlisted for the sole purpose of being Infantry. It’s one of the few MOSs where you are specifically signing up knowing there’s potential for you to take the fight to the enemy; face to face and hand to hand.
